how u work that out then bongo?

we need to get teams together before anything can be booked dont you think?

silly to get 2 pitches and themn only to teams turn up

I think we need some form of provisional idea though.

How much time will we have? (more relevant now we have the early start for the BB comp)

How many teams do we want?
It's hard to know whether to try and form say "Team Wales" and then pester people to fill any empty spaces so or just band together a motley crew and form "Team Rest of the World" - of which we probably have sufficient numbers right now.

If we say we have X hours, so if we get Y teams we'll have a good game then people can form teams accordingly. If we have too many or too few people we can tweak it accordingly - then book it?

im looking to book a local (to walsall) 5 aside centre for the saturday of bb3 and need to know how many teams we have so i know how many pitches we need and the format we are going to play.

im looking for a lunchtime ko as long as most teams can get there by this time.

depending on entries i cant see the footie taking more than two hours giving us plenty time to get lashed after before the evening festivities begin.

iron.... i think 5 mins each way to short, it will give the weaker teams like the scots  a chance to get beat by less than 5 goals!

if we can get 4 teams of up to 10 man squads we just have a round robin. teams will either be 5 or 6 aside depending on pitch size.

20 mins a match fits into a tight 2 hours but if teams ready to go on as a match finishes its possible.

as the poker now brought forward to 4pm i think a 12 start for the footie is best giving enuf time after preperation 4 the poker.

ok making it 15 minutes a match will still give you time to play it in 2 hours and it wont kill the players

not everyone is in there first flush of youth and i think the sky masters is 7.5 minutes per half

i would recomend riverd in the rest of england team along with chippie leicster so come on the english players fill your team out

where is dewi? surely he should be in the row

(btw is there a girlie team) if there is then we could combine the row and the roe into one team

hardly in the spirit of the thing is it? Surely he can be added to your squad and a few rolling subs can be made if necessary?

its not a problem , just that another couple of the scottish lads might want to play .

it is supposed to be a scottish team after all.

if its just about the spirit of the bash why dont we abandon the scottish/english thing and just go with our own teams.

 you cant please everybody.
