Just read this blog.  No need to worry about him - his bank roll is now £88k gained by some amazing outdraws.

nice one, you know the following posts will be a great roller coaster.

He can certainly play a bit but theres nothing like sucking out in massive pots to boost the bankroll.

This is a great blog but I'm so worried about him I've had to reply on his blog. I guess it was going to happen sooner or later.

Countdown to busto is well and truly on for our friend.

In his latest post he reports on a $73,000 loss in 3 hrs - more than half his bankroll.

His blog also feature the classic sentence 'i was fully intent on betting £40k on one of the champions league matches in the week. i figured i would probably lose at sports betting so i'd do one or 2 bets and then stop altogether.'

he misses, and i'm up to 4500, give or take 300.

I think he may need to brush up on his attention to detail - especially at the poker table!!

multi tabling at that level is what I don't get. "the $100/$200 6 seater was running and i sat in. an hour and a half later it was still going and i started to play $50/$100 hu at the same time" why would you multi table this? especially playing a HU match at the same time is suicide IMO....blah what do I know...

I think it's already been said (100s of times probably), but it doesn't matter how good you are on the table, if your bankroll can't sustain you at the levels you're playing - you WILL go bust.

He's possibly plays the game better than I ever will, but I'd be willing to bet (within the limits of my bankroll of course) that  he loses his entire bankroll and I don't.

That makes him a poor poker player overall.  He could earn a nice living playing at a level that his bankroll will allow, but instead he wants to throw it all away.
