Andreas Hagen, who somewhere along the line had managed to get himself rather precariously short stacked, got all the chips in against a nearly equal stack with .  A middling hand, yes, but not when your opponent has and the flop's ...
Turn:    ("A good card for me" says Hagen, and he's right, a nine now splits it and only the final 6 outdraws him)
River:

And he's now up to, at a guess, 12,000.

Jim Reid is OUT.

MB bet into flop, Jim re-raised, MB raised again and Jim called all-in.

Simon Young is OUT

With a few limpers and a button raiser, Simon moves all-in from the Bib Blind with Pocket Fours.

The limpers fold, leaving the initial raiser to go into a long dwell, before calling with K-T.

Hit a straight on the River.

Ouch

Blinds are currently 200/400, ante 50, but very soon it's becoming 300/600.  Last two levels approaching, then...

138 players left tonight.

Andreas Hagen, after being all-in that one time, doesn't look keen on dwindling again - he's just taken down a 10k or so pot with a 5,000 bet on the river, in position, with the board .  A lengthy think from his opponent (whose 20k stack wouldn't have liked a 5k loss) and then a pass.

His sunglasses rank as the least silly and the most reminiscent of the Terminator.

Disaster Hand For Mickey Wernick -

Mickey raised under the gun to 2,500 (blinds now 300/600, ante 75).  The player on his immediate left re-raised another 5,000.  Call from Mickey.
Flop:  .  Mickey checks, and the young guy pushes for around 19k - call!
Mickey shows against new big stack's !
Turn and river:  three diamonds  so no help and Mickey is left with just 2,500 after the blinds went through him right afterwards...

Tony Nicholls is up to 33k after his 8-7 (called a 3k raise preflop) outdrew MB's K-K on a 7-7-2 Flop. All-in on the Turn after both checked the flop.

Henning Granstad, while never seeming to develop a chunky stack, seems to be stealing a small pot almost every time I pass his table.  Before he was moved to his present location, where he's in the company of Noah Boeken and Andreas Hagen, I saw this slightly odd one:

Henning called a raise from the Under-the-gun Matey in the big blind.
Flop:  three diamonds   Check-check.
Turn:    Check-check again.
River:    Henning bets a little take-a-stab-at-it bet of 1,100.  Call.  He turns over .  It's the winner.

Le chip count Francais:

Pascal Perrault   26,000
Paul Testud      16,200

And some other miscellaneous counts:

Noah Boeken   30,000 or so, hard to count - he says, "I think it's 30,000.  I hope it's 30,000."
Gus Hansen     27,500
