The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k. “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi. Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

Just when we thought we'd got the APAT off to a corking start, everything went perfectly to plan, wonderful atmo, Iron has to go & spoil it. I mean, HOW?
Seriously, he played great, though when Matey Boy moved on him with 8-4, he seemed reluctant to call, eventually saying "OK. I'll gamble". He turned over A-A...
Brendan (Eric Stoner) played wonderfully, quietly amassing chips all evening.
In fact, all the blondes gave a good account of themselves, though poor Bainn had no cards to work with - 4-4 was his best hand in 5 hours! Anf floppy's exit was cringeworthy.
We start again on Sunday at 3pm, & we've (well, Mr Blig Mouth here) promised to take all the Day Two-ers to dinner first. We thought about a dozen would return - in fact, 33 have, plus many of them have wives/partners etc with them. Oops.....
It's quite extraordinary how many of the players have bought family & friends along - I estimate there are 60 or 70 just Railing. And they've come from all over the place - one couple (player + Railer) never been in a Casino in their life, came up from Cornwall. Cornwall! That's in Devon. Another was from the Isle of Man. That's nowhere near Devon.
I've never experienced an atmosphere quite like it. Every player that bust out - 87 of them so far - was warmly applauded by all the players - not just on their table, but the whole cardroom.
Happy days.
