It might actually be quicker than i thought - last night we were playing the tower game with different shape wooden building blocks. You know the one, daddy builds a tower out of the blocks and babymonkey knocks it down as quickly as possible (my uncle Kong would have been proud!). Anyway he gets bored with the tower game and starts using me as a climbing frame to pull himself up but instead of climbing onto me he would let go and see how long he could stand unaided before falling onto his backside. This carried on for a good ten minutes even though he didnt seem to last more than 5-10 seconds each time before falling back down. I know that the next stage will be walking but part of me doesnt want that stage to come as i know there will be much destrcution following it!!  |

He did like the present and tried to phone you to say thank you, there must have been something wrong with the connection when Claire answered as he couldn't get through. Anyway, here's some pic's of his big day. He has a cold (boy flu not quite as bad as man flu, but getting there) so didn't want to smile for photos. |
