I'm glad I got my wager on when I was 40/1 !

I may still be a good each way if I can get past Rookie? He seems to be a tough competitor, he wants to play for huge stakes as well, just off to rob a bank! police

Heres a tip for you stone .... play for a stake that is peanuts in comparison to your bankroll .... Dont let the boy Rookie con you into feeling the pressure of the stake of the game Wink

If you play for $1 you can concentrate purely on the game without the added pressure that you are playing for too high a side amount.

Bit harsh isn't it?  Not a nice thing to say about anyone!

AndrewT  2 - 0  TrendyQuest

Silo's two quid rides on into the semi-finals.

The first game Trendy (Zebediah) was pretty card dead but managed to hold on whilst shortstacked for quite a while before I got him. His carddeadness momentarily left him at the start of the second game when he flopped quad eights and I paid him off a bit.

The game turning hand was when I filthily slowplayed pocket aces and, unluckily for Trendy, he flopped top pair which put me well up. He then held on for a bit before I won a pre-flop race.

A good game and a worthy opponent.

AndrewT beat me 2-0, well played.

Knew you were weak with that last allin preflop, but you still had the edge in the coinflip lol (As the 2 previous).

Quite enjoyed this, used to play heads up alot last year, including winning the $20 128 player stars heads up tourney (on third attempt yet never entered again).
But just seemed to stop playing it. Might play a few and see if I can get up to speed again, but with my current home life it is hard to get the peace for the concentration required.

The only hand I was pleased with was when you made a FH with that 6, as soon as the second 6 came on the turn I was sure you had it and laid down the pair of aces, otherwise, not really good enough.
Is it possible to get both hand histories, would be interesting to look through them. Critique just how far I have fallen away.

Hang about, no intimidation tactics used here!! I was asked what stakes and replied lol. Nobody put any restrictions on it, but whatever you want to play at is fine Stone.
