Times must be tough at Anfield if you feel the need to crow about doing the double over Spurs.

...an away win is an away win for us.  We'll celebrate any win on the road this season.

Even if it is against a mid-table team like Spurs.  Would be same if Celtic were in the Premiership as well... Wink

I think the large overhaul has hurt Spurs this year as has losing Carrick. The team just doesn't look settled.

Hopefully you wont need more than one or two buys per season now and the consistency will come.

Jol has done good so far - I'd give him time.

Forget Carrick, we have Huddlestone, he will be even better.

Tightend, Jol is going nowhere. We need continuity at the club, and Jol is a good manager and coach.

Today's defeat was unlucky. We deserved a point.

Jol is a good manager (and he seems like a decent chap as well), and Huddlestone does look like he'll be a very good player for you.

I also agree you were unlucky not to get a point today.  It's been happening to us all season, and it's nice to be on the right end of it for once.

I remember the days when 6 points vs Spurs was standard. Now that I know Nemesis and Kiv it's a must!

I can see Berbatov leaving for them - as he is simply out of this world.

Luis Garcia, he drinks sangria,
He came from Barca, to bring us joy!
He's five foot seven, he's football heaven,
So please don't take my Luis away!

Yet again the scousers steal a Celtic song....

WNYA, The Fields of Athenrye, The Maley Song (to the tune of Matchstick Men and Matchstick dogs)....

WRITE SOMETHING ORIGINAL!!!!

I know where it's from.  It was written in the forties, but became popular when Gerry Marsden released his version in the early sixties.  The time that....Liverpool fans were singing all the popular songs from the Mersey.

But of course, Celtic fans adopted it first...

There's varying accounts of when it was heard first. TBH neither of us are going to be able to prove it. We sing it best though Wink

By the way, the first post was a  stirthepot

If you come and join the English league, you'll be able to sing it as much as you want in the Championship...
