Could you led me know how Ade (Richard) is getting on please?

If possible please also wish him luck from the regular student in his old China Palace weekly comp.  Will catch up with him in Walsall for Leg 2.

Jamie.

gasman:  Karl Mahrenholz   40,000
             Praz Bansi           31,000

And beat for Badbeat - two wearing their shirt (Sandy Jackson-Palin and Richard Herbert) have been eliminated in one hand by Tim Flanders... with some added drama.

Threeway all-in Sandy:
Tim:
Richard:

Flop:  Two Diamonds   and shortest stack (I think) Sandy is happy with that.
Turn:    - Wait - no it isn't!  The dealer dealt the burn card so back down it went and with it went the straight and Richard's hope for victory and instead:
River:

And Tim scoops a big pot when the drama simmers down.

Well, I guess this could be described as the hand of the day and possibly one of the reasons why the quiet and reserved Praz Bansi won a WSOP bracelet last year.

According to the dealer, Mateyboy raised pre-flop and Praz and Mick Fletcher called.

Flop = two hearts

Mick bet out and Praz called.

Turn =

Mick bet out again, and, just as before, Praz flat called.

River =

Mick checks and Praz moves all-in (21k pot) for just under 20k.

Mick thinks and thinks, and then thinks some more before slowly making a meek pass.

"Do you wanna see them," gloats Praz.

You'll never guess what he had, so I may as well tell you...

Play of the week perhaps?

Here we have (I sound like David Attenborough when I say that) a rather red-faced and bashful Mark Hawkins who is enduring (??) a massage after Ariston insisted that he asked for one.

Doesn't look too bad to me.  Cheesy

Just ask Trevor Reardon, he has more massages than hot dinners!

Well Hawko definitely has more hot dinners than massages. That may change though when he nails the £63k first prize tomorrow. Please pass on good wishes to Hawko from "Irish carp".
