I have a recurring dream.

The US government cut their spending on the space programme, so they had to lower their hiring standards somewhat. I even got a gig, doing the night shift over at mission control. We are overseeing the latest manned misssion to Mars or something.

All of a sudden, there is a problem with the fusey-wotsit. It comes loose and flies all over the place, hitting people over the head and leaking Noxic Flugon gas everywhere. Without exception, all the astronauts are rendered unconcious.

Dreadful news, because in all the confusion, some major damage was done to the ship. This includes the life support mechanism. Unless it gets manually re-booted, everyone on board the craft will perish.

The only person still concious, who can still save the day, is blondes own sofa_king. He was brought up by the yanks to investigate the effect of space on Welsh people. My job is to explain the procedure, we have 25 minutes to work together and rescue the crew.

Audio and visual communications are down, the only way we can speak to each other and rectify the situation is by some sort of text based e-mail.

Is it any wonder I toss and turn in my sleep?
