Kamikaze Kricket: 308 for 4
Rohan Wraiths:     12 for 10

That was Take It Easy as well.... only got £10k for gate receipts - his ground is tiny!

I hit 385-3 off my 50 and bowled them all out for 259 from my 50. My reward is a game against the Yorkshire Terriers (4th in a Div 2!) next week, where I will be skittled...

Got £42,201 in gate receipts though (and the same next week).

Sold the player I had on the market for a nice £975,202 (so you can stop telling me I'm going bankrupt Iron Tongue) too, so a good day all in all!

Own fault really, should have checked my side.  Came up 50runs short, if I had proper side out I think It'd have been very close. I was looking good at one point before my batting collapsed and to make matters worse the batsman who was bowling was out for a duck lol.

Should be a good game next week.  Evenly matched on paper.

ok i got a friendly for sunday vrs ruswarp ponies they challenged me and on paper look only slighly stronger so i thought i would give them a bash although i am planning on using my new trainees to test them out

got 1 pop today a fielding pop for my 17 year old all rounder need to get him some sonsistance pops though if he wants to be a true all rounder

also got a shock when i found my 31 year old RM the centre of a couple of bids

i bought him for 10k end of last season as a standard bowler who could field he has no nets first bid was 2k then 2nd bid was 20k as he comes off the market in the middle of the night i think the guy is just hoping no one out bids him but the guy is only just worth the 10k i paid for him

Stamina: mediocre Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: woeful Concentration: feeble
Bowling: mediocre Consistency: mediocre
Fielding: competent

I reckon your squad looks stronger than mine on paper, but it looks fairly close. I'll be resting my stronger bowlers and whichever batsman has the longest bat in Friday's league opener. I need early wins in the league to have any chance of promotion so I will be on TIE for the Sunday friendlies.

You don't get a choice of TIE/PAN/GFI in friendlies but they have a much less of an effect than a normal game.

My new 17yo allrounder popped today in batting(resp) and conc(only feeble Sad) so I'm rather happy...

Good price you're getting iron, I have a similar bowler to sell (31yo, worse fielding but comp bowling) and would be very happy with £20k.

I recently replaced him with this guy I bought for £11k:

Stamina: feeble Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: abysmal Concentration: woeful
Bowling: respectable Consistency: mediocre
Fielding: woeful

how old is your replacement?

i rate stamina high for my opening bowlers and i also want all my players to be able to field so he looks ok but only if he would be able to get a pop or 2 in stamina and fielding

31, same as the guy he replaces.

He'll do me for 6 weeks until my trainees improve enough to take over then I hope to flog him for a profit.

I'm starting off with a must win game in the league, in fact my first two matches come into the must win category and I'm not being helped with the fact I have no money and my best batsman is in feeble form and my best bowler is in abysmal form.

Only had a fielding pop today as well which was a bit disappointing.

bazz my first 2 games are against the 2 teams i expect to be above me in the fight for a play off place (i am certain i will get relegated)
and the hammering i took yesterday has reduced all my players from strong and superb form to feeble and abysmal

but hey ho next season i will win div 6 and hopefully gain promotion to a weaker div v
