Holy crap, he sold for £5.3m in the end.
Now, how badly can I make a mess of this opportunity to take a step forward in Battrick?
very nice.. want my strong/strong all rounder?? £3m to you sir.
Did have a good season though, especially considering it was my first full one.
Held my place in div V with a solid 4th place which included three other narrow defeats too.
Took a couple of teams by surprise I think first time round so will be tougher this season.
Had my expected first class relegation as the four long standing teams were just too good. Was only 8 pts off 4th at the end though and did force a couple of draws against the top four second time round so definite progress.
Just seen my div 6 first class is totally bot which is a shame as it's going to be a bit boring though obviously good for morale & fitness!
I've finished rounding up the basic level of all my squad and now need to concentrate on developing 2/3 real stars which is what I currently lack in the first XI
Yep Asa...I need a Birchall..

Done well in transfers so looking forward to new season with £2m in bank, suberb academy, 16k stadium, solid squad which is far healthier than 3 months ago!

Lol, Birchall's not a bad player at all is he... he'll soon be at the max level I can afford at this stage of the game, his wages are already over £11k!! Have managed to get a couple of good all rounders ( strong/resp and strong/strong) so I bat down to 8 now, and managed to pick up a strong bowler for not too much too.
I have a few things to achieve over the course of the next season:
1) FC promotion back to V which isn't that easy seeing as there is a couple of campers with strong squads
2) Remain in top 4 in OD as my division is much tougher than last year
3) Pick up a top class spinner ( if necessary by selling one of my all rounders)
4) Look at getting one of my young batsmen vastly better to take some of the pressure off Birchall
5) Continue making £1m every 6 weeks
