played a poor team, which have recently taken on a human manager. Left a few players in. Ended up winning inside 2 days, but didn't get any batting points...lol

OD..

Played a team I expected to have trouble beating, seeing as they have the capability of getting as good ratings as my lot do

Batted first, on a hard pitch, and lost an early wicket. This brought in Goodhead, who scored 141 from 128 deliveries, the 2nd wicket went down on 69, bringing in Birchall, who scored 112 from 90 deliveries. Some fireworks on the loss of those 2 ( 28 from 22 and 30 from 19) brought up a very respectable score of 360-4.

In reply, they were cruising ( all be it well behind the RRR) at 119-2, when my premier all rounder came on for his spell. Pickering ripped through the middle order, taking 4-24, in the end bowling them out for 184. Birchall taking 3 catches and a stumping.

Got my first proficient batting rating, quite pleased with the progress.

Next week I have a very easy BOT bash in FC, a BOT in OD my lot should beat, then the return easy BOT bash, then playing the top of the league, this time at home. Will be GFI'ing this time vs the super BOT, preparing a VERY green pitch to hopefully totally negate their awesome spin attack.

Lucky here in one sense that no teams higher than V in my BT20 league.

However four of them have been around for over two years and have far superior squads to me.

Looking at a 3 win 4 loss BT20 for me I'd predict.

Got my highest ever ratings today:

Bigglesthwaite CC
Top Order:    remarkable
Middle Order:    proficient
Lower Order:    abysmal
Seam Bowling:    remarkable
Spin Bowling:    quality
Fielding:    competent

Top order makes me laugh as my opener is a competent batter.

I lost too! Cry

i am leading the OD league at the break and 4th in the FC league

think the guy in 3rd should win the OD league

i got lucky against him in our first match

he "should" win all the remaining games and beat me by NRR
