Well i have no limping policy under 10bb's (tho i might break with aa or kk given the table), pocket pairs folding 22-66, 77 is table dependent for mine. Then im 88-qq im shoving, might be a bit cuter with kk and aa.

yes I would only even consider limping with under 7's if the table is letting people limp..otherwise It's a fold.

thumbs up
Lots of people seem to play them very poorly.  Big stacks getting involved when they don't need to and then finding themselves back in the pack, or short-ish stacks getting all-in on marginal hands right on the bubble.
It's amazing how many people who play in these things have no idea about satellitte strategy.  So long as you finish beyond the bubble, it doesn't matter if you have $1 or $1m in chips.  People seem to think you have to win the thing.

Good post MAF. I was reading through and thinking exactly the same. He has nearly 30 big blinds and absolutely no need to get involved with any hands except premiums. No one at these stages of sats will be allowed to limp so ep I would be passing almost any hand. Limping is dead money into the pot as oop you can't call a raise.

I had 10xBB, and the antes had kicked in.  Oh, and the blinds were going up in 1 minute.  So each orbit would cost 1,850.

sorry kin, my mistake. It was the average that was 17500 and not your stack.

I am still passing A6 here, but there is a much wider range that I am prepared to push with in later position in unopened pots when my stack to blind ratio is short.

Don't get me wrong Kinboshi, I wasn't having a dig at you.  I was merely agreeing with what you said about other players playing these sats wrong.

I see that there's no way you would have folded into a seat from your position, but you need to wait for a better hand and opportunity to do so.   I also would have folded this also.

Congrats on winning a seat BTW.
