Chris Bruce has been knocked back to the awkward just-over-ten-big-blinds stack size after an interesting blind vs. blind situation on his last table. With the blinds at 2k/4k he called the button's raise to 10k in the big blind with 8-9. The flop came A-J-T, he checked, button checked. The turn brought the 7 he was waiting for, and when his 12k bet was raised all-in for 30k, he called and found the button had only flopped the nut straight, and the Seven had just brought him the double through he wanted (and it must have seemed like such a friendly card, too...).

Bowker, Elliot 190400
Coren, Vicky 104700
Nelson, Ian 55600
My pics for the FT are above. Watch out for Ian he will defend his blinds with pretty much anything. Rekwob class. Vicky would be good for rasising profile of GUKPT further.
Keeps it up guys. Great posts as usual.

Photo 1 - Here's Ben Vinson next to the (now departed Greek Jack).
Photo 2 - Eliott Bowker, in the process of winning yet more chips. Totally missed the hand while trying to focus my camera.

Pot = 25-30k
Dave Smith bets 20k
Simon Zach looks him up and down, asks him two few probing questions (both of which Dave initially replied with a 'sorry?'), before folding.

Having looked like he may dwindle out of the tournament somehow, extrovert Swede Robert Forsman is back in it. Attracted to the table by his shouting, "Hold...Hold! HOLD!" I saw his stack all in the middle (all 80k+ of it) and his hand,
, in the process of holding against Andrew Feldman's
. At the river, he clapped his hands and shouted, prompting someone on the table to murmur, "Did it hold?"
Although I didn't see any reaction from Feldman, I assume it was him who lost the pot, as he used to have 160k, and now he doesn't have anything like that.

a fellow media man informs me that Wai Choi is OUT, moving in with Pocket Threes on a K-K-5 Flop, but running into the Pocket Nines of Steve Craig.
And with Ken Wong also on the sidelines, we're down to 30 with 27 getting paid.
MC Hammer waits with baited breath.

8 £9,450
9 £6,300
10 £4,720
11 £3,150
12-15 £2,520
16-21 £2,200

And here are shots from that very moment - the double-up board and the presumed double-upper.

Can't get through the ropes during this bubble period, but I did notice that DTD representative Michael Greco is on 50k.
"Still here, Michael" I ask tongue in cheek but still maintaining my distance.
"Yeah, I've been grinding the whole day, this guys getting Aces every hand and I've only had one big pair," he complained.
Jokingly, I pretended to write on my notepad and said out loud, "Michael Greco", moaning endlessly"
Remember the Generation Game, that's what Brucey used to do? I'm emulating one of my heroes (the other being tikay, of course, who I emulate by never winning a comp)

Somewhere in the chaotic last half level, we realised that Dave Colclough was no longer in his original seat, or any other seat, in fact. His exit, especially after being short for a while, was swift -
and a low diamondy flop against
, on which his all-in was called. The Tens, however, four-flushed on the turn, with a third Ten on the river; Dave was just not meant to win that hand.

Barely enough time to get that awesome MC Hammer in there before Rob Bright got the Audience Clap for Being the Bubble. That's obviously not as good as getting money instead, but it does mean that we might be allowed back within the rope to get some stories for you...
