I don't really understand this thing about not playing a 'proper team'. Football is a squad thing nowadays. Just because some players are not household names doesn't mean they aren't good enough. Sheffield went down because they didn't get enough points, not because Liverpool fielded a 'weakened' team against Fulham, or because Man Utd didn't start with Ronaldo, Scholes, Giggs or Vidic on Sunday. Warnock blamed Ferguson, referees, the F.A. and Uncle Tom Cobley and all. Not his own fault then. Didn't hear Pardew moaning.

I actually feel quite sorry for Warnock and Sheff Utd (and bobby1). Yes Warnock can be a total prick at times but he fights 100% for his club. He is a blades fan and the passion he shows is great.
And,yes, I agree that they didnt get enough points to stay up so that should be that and to be honest they only needed a point from their last 2 games to stay up. Both were at home against teams in the bottom half of the league.
To criticise Man Utd and Liverpool I think is wrong. If you said to any manager who was fighting to stay up you can either have Man Utd away or Wigan at home for your last game how many do you think would pick Man Utd??
Same with Fulham against Liverpool. Fulham were fortunate that Liverpool had bigger things to worry about. Why should Man Utd or Liverpool field full strength sides when they have big cup finals coming up.
I'm sure that teams have picked up points from Arsenal,Chelsea,Man Utd and Liverpool when they have rested players after a Champions League in the week. Nothing is said then because it is not highlighted in the middle of the season but the truth is every point in every game of the season is valuable for the clubs fighting for their lives.
I wanted West Ham to go down but it wasn't to be and their form at the end of the season was highly impressive.
I dont know the ins and outs of the Tevez situation. I think it was clear from the day that both the Argies signed that there was something a little dodgy about them as they were offered to Arsenal,Tottenham,Chelsea,Man Utd and Liverpool in the last week of the transfer window and all of them turned them down.
I also agree with Teacake that the other clubs in the "gang of 4" will probably leave Sheff Utd in the shite, although Wigan have said that they will still support them. I think that if this ends up in the courts and they rule that west ham should go down then it could have serious implications on the game as every club that goes down will try and get out of it anyway they can.

Warnock is a total w#####........the one and only reason teams go down is because they just haven't picked up enough points....end of!

You know when you've come across a bad manager when he blames relegation on the players other teams put out. Fact remains his side lost at home to a team who have barely won a game all season. Since when do any of the 'big' teams owe Sheff Utd, or anyone else a favour to play their supposed best team.

How can he blame Man Utd and Liverpool for fielding weakened teams?
Is this not the same Warnock who fielded a massively weakened team for the midweek game at Old Trafford against Man Utd because he wanted to save his best team for the game against Charlton at The Valley 4 days later?
