Am coming up to the Maybury back end of next week, all being well. Deffo Saturday & Thursday, maybe Friday.

I plan to play Thursday, Friday, I'm undecided, may go back home if I bust early Thursday, & Saturday & Sunday. We'll be there till the Monday I guess, filming & stuff. We used the Castle last time, but will be trying somewhere else this time. Maybe by the Royal Yacht - how cool would that be, I believe it's moored across the river. Or Holyrood. Hey - we could film at the Train Station, Waverley!

LOL- i spent last Sunday with Princess Ailee sitting on one of the bridges in Princes Street gardens watching the trains coming and going, she loved it. You haven't met my daughter in law by any chance?? lol.

Britannia is moored at Ocean Terminal at Leith and would make a great backdrop, The parliament at Holyrood is an ogre of a building, however Holyrood House (where Her Majesty stays when in Edinburgh) is another stunning palace.

I too have sat in Princes Gardens, watching the trains trundle in & out of Waverley, for many a happy hour.

How far is Leith from town? I'm gonna suggest that as a location.

The Parliament Building - no thank you, I'd throw up at the horrendous overspend & incompetent management that allowed costs to spiral so monstrously out of control.

But Holyrood Palace, wow, that's lovely. Is it true that it belongs to HM the Queen? Not sure we'd get the cameras in there though.

They do orient express trips in Uk as well, so perhaps we should book the trip soon?

The Orient Express on our first date is like getting jiggy on our first night, it's a bit soon. I think we should start on Midland Mainline - Derby to St Pancras, then GNER to Edinburgh (stop off at York), followed by GWR Paddington to Penzance, on the sleeper. Then we can do the O thing.
