Going to Vegas, Alan? You should have said
No truth in the rumour that you failing to bubble Vegas sats caused the entire site to give up on its own RNG
Seriously, if you can download the client (and I appreciate some, such as Mac users cannot), it is remarkably similar to the old site. Main differences being lower guarantees and higher overlay. Which, for me at least, is a great compromise.
Very best of luck in Vegas. And I promise you will not be out of your depth. Enjoy.

our american friends do like to get a tad excited from time to time , bit like tikay screaming "GET IN THE HOLE" off the tee on a par 5 , fair play though he got what he asked for ...

Congrats on your latest cash Tikay. Really enjoying yours, and Stuart R's, updates.
I am another 'sky reg' not able to get to grips with the new Sky Poker home. Unable to download the client, so have just played some freerolls on the website.......and not really impressed with the whole set up with that TBH.
Going to have a break with online (probably way overdue anyway) until I get back from Vegas (Did I mention I was going this year?
), and then look for other sites to join/play on. Shame really, as I would say over 95% of my online playing was on Sky Poker.
Looks like you will not be out there when the package winners get there. Another shame. I was going to buy you a coffee and an iced bun too
. Really looking forward to my trip though.....albeit with some fear at being overwhelmed by it all and completly out my depth.
Well done to the other cashes jumping on this diary to boast too
You'll be fine Al, honestly, good luck too and any other Blondes I have missed.

Thanks very much.
Was quite a day.
In the WSOP thing I eventually finished 94th for $3,310, just a few spots better than THE MAN himself, Chufty.
Not at all sure what Flag that is Hendon has given me though.

So I departed "Paris" at around 6.30pm & in pouring rain (in Vegas of all places) happily drove back to my Hotel, the Orleans, looking forward to a nice relaxing evening with my book.
Arrived just before 7pm & as I trundled through the poker room on way back to my Room I noticed that their $240 Omaha Mix still had 1 minute of Late Reg remaining.
But of course after those two long days it made no sense to enter.

With just 25 BB I had to play with a little more urgency than is my usual pedestrian gait, but once I'd secured a 2XUp I reverted to my usual tortoise-like pace.
Turned out ok though, finished 5th of 111.

So that was worth a very pleasing $1,310 on top of the earlier cash.
WARNING - shameless chirp incoming.
So that's the 2nd time this trip I've cashed in two different Tournaments on the same day.
Think I've used up my run-good for the rest of the trip.

Was delighted for Dooobs too, he seemed to get brutally unlucky when it most mattered.
Spent some time with Rob (animal) who has had no luck yet but trust me, he will notch up a few results before heading all the way back to Cornwall.
Had a chat with Chufty, who I'd not seen for years.
Bumped into Mad Turk & Adam Wilko, who had just had a proper cash at Wynn, not one of my piddlearse ones, think it was $148,000. Yikes.
Just got to sort some stuff then I'll try to resume replying to some of the other posts. And I promise, no more chirping.

Very well done on the double cash Tony - I envy your stamina not to mention all those flags!
