No chance for Scott Carson?

He's still young for a keeper as well, and should only improve.  From when I've seen him play, he's a very good keeper.  Same goes for Kirkland - but he just breaks too much.

Have to agree with this. I thought Carson was superb last year. He was brilliant when we played Charlton at home and we won 4-0 but he was MOTM by a long way

Dont get me wrong as a Liverpool fan I think Carson is a very good keeper, but something about Ben Foster tells me he'll be really top draw... Mind you Wales could do with either (Or Robinson, or James, or Kirkland, or Southall)....

I think we're clutching at straws if we're relying on Foster or Carson to solve the goalkeeping crisis.

Both are too young to be internatonal regulars.

It's the one position where experiance counts for everything.

Can anyone name an top class international keeper under 25?

Carson was nothng short of brilliant in the U21 Euro Championships and was amazing for Charlton last year too.

To write him and Foster off due to their age is a bit harsh IMO.
