OK mate, I'll be in the bar at Future by 12.

Geo

Any one know how far away this is from the train station?

Got a return from Exeter for £39 bargain!

not far you could walk it in about 15 mins but the train station (cardiff central) is handily in the same place as the central station for the buses so just hop on a bus and you'll be there in like 5 minutes, probably no more than 75p or just get a taxi, around 3/4 quid probably, may be cheaper.

what's the best way of getting from the airport into town? Is the train easy enough? or am I gonna have to shell out a small fortune to take a taxi?

It's a fair distance away I believe.  No buses?

Not on me, no.

Oh, OK.

I'll ask KP...I'm sure he knows some sheepfarmers that are transporting some "ladies" into Cardiff city centre..might be able to catch a ride

buses is way easier. "Cardiff" airport is quite misleading as its not in vboody cardiff at all, its in barry which is about 8 miles (or so) from cardiff city centre. I may be making this up but i have heard talk of a free service running from airport to city centre but even if you pay it aint gonna cost the earth, i knw they do regualr runs with the buses so you wont be waiting long.

Just out of curiosity...how much would a taxi be from Bristol airport to Cardiff?  We're not landing until nearly 6pm...all those buses and trains are cutting into valuable drinking time!

well imm sure they would do a fixed price if u rang up a taxi firm in bristol but put it like this, i wouldnt wanna pick up that tab

but thats because im a tight arse when it comes to travel expenses and it may cut into ur drinking time laxie but it wont cut into ur drinking expenses lol!!
