More just in from Dave.....
Rob Hollink doubles up through Tony Ma, Rob now 400,000, Tony Ma 300,000.
Joe Beevers may (Dave's word) be down to 800k...."

Simon,
Do you remember Camel's so called "Unbeatables" from Reading Card Room?
And was Graham Pound really able to play in those days?

I believe Bad Girl was on the Luton team...she was a timid thing in those days... no sign of the poker playing monster she has become today.

And Victor Ramdin's moment of glory has passed, he busts out 24th when Tuan Le's AA holds up.
So I am not sure if we have 22 or 23 left now.......

I remember Graham bluffing me on the river in a 20 comp with A high with a straight and a flush on board and not many of us have come second in the Master Classics as he did .
I think Keith and Bob are the best 2 players to come out of Reading and nice guys too .

Well I am relatively new to the game Simon, but Bob is a diamond, a genuinely lovely man whom I much admire & respect.
Keith Hawkins? Can't comment, folks may be watching, but I guess he's Ok.......

The fiver is in the post mate. You aren't too shabby yourself.
I always thought Pacey was a fantastic player but he gets a nosebleed if he leaves Reading so has probably given up the game now.
A shame because he could have won some big tournaments I'm sure.

Tikay ,I said this from day 1. Paul is the most under-estimated poker player, which he will use to his advantage. I tolld you he rang me this morning and he was full of confidence. It couldnt happen for a nicer chap.

Agreed. Top bloke and a very good player too.
I think the quality at the final 5 tables proves once and for all that this is the REAL world championship nowadays.

What he said also, yesterday he had some big hands, unfortunately they were against Dave. He said a less of a player would have paid him off , but Dave got away from the hands.
