Sry about the texts, iron, but I didn't realise I was sending them to your home phone. Saw 'Ironside' in my directory and assumed it was your mobile. oops.
Anyhow, I played badly. Fatigue caught up with me and I made a few unnecessary errors.
Sat on same table as Chilli, M Power, and RED-DOG.
M Power took me out the comp with around 40 left. I was low and card dead and decided to move my last 4k in with blinds of 300/600. I had 33. M Power, who had limped, called with 99. Big mistake by me as many people limp with pocket pairs.
Previous to that, I'd donated a chunk of my 11k stack to Ralph when I reraised his button raise with 92 off
I was convinced he was weak, but I'd made a total misread. He did in fact hold AK. I folded when he went over the top.
Didn't get many hands or opportunities. Got a little luck soon after the break. Was on 5k. I raised to 1k with KJ suited. Big Blind went all-in for 5k. I thought about it for ages. Decided that, at worst, he held a weak ace, if not a small pocket pair. So I made a dangerous call. He held A3. I hit a flush on the turn and doubled up. It was a risky call, but I was pretty sure I was virtually a 50-50 shot, so at least the read was correct.
RED is still in with about 10k.
Ralph doubled up to 16k just before the end at 3.30.
I KNOW IT is on about 15k (A rough estimate)
