Anyone seen that tackle by Binya on Brown (celtic), couldve snapped his leg in half

yeah i did, they should set an example and ban him for 10 matches for doing that, i cant believe nothing will happen,he must get a ban,

Just had exactly the same conversation with my dad. Ten matches sounds about right.

I reckon Brown's reaction must qualify him as a genuine hard man. Plenty players can put the boot in, but not many can get up from a tackle like that, and tell the post-match interviewer they'll be fine for training in the morning!

yeah, he took it very well,didnt seem flustered at all, i think the scottish assistant manager put the argument very well. when he said

I think a lesson should be learnt from this and a precedent should be set. Any kind of challenge like that, which is career-threatening to the opposite player, should really be hit severely

The alternative was to send the bear into the Benfica dressing room and show that dirty wee F*** what a hard man really is

shame Smeaton supports Rangers, eh? Or I'm sure he would have sorted him right out
