Say the jocks lol
Blues are obviously bigger than scotland!!

LOL - Not really though. Just awash with money paid out for the draw of the big teams in the EPL.

Rod's forecast - Birmingham improve, avoid relegation, down next season or year after.

Ifm,

As a birmingham fan, are you pleased or disappointed with the appontment?

Is he the guy you wanted in charge? Be Honest.

First thoughts appalled, Jewell would've been a better candidate.
The board have a habit of going for managers with no proven record to speak of but having huge faith in them once there, this has not been the best strategy but i think this time Carson Yeung may be less patient if he ever completes the takeover.
So even though i'm disappointed i think it makes little difference right now, the good thing for blues is that there are 3 teams worse than us in the Prem so relegation i not something i'm at all worried about so we don't need a saviour like Derby just yet.
Though i have probably just jinxed us.

Of course not.

Just a little bit of England uber alles there mfi.

I'm not convinced McLeish is the man for the job - but to suggest Jewell & then talk abouot proven records shows a level of football ignorance I've not seen for a long time...

I said:

"Jewell would've been a better candidate"

I did not say he had a proven record, i just think out of all those allegedly considered (and those that would even consider the job) Jewell would have been mine and probably most of the fans choice before Mcleish.
Nothing to with nationalities, i'd even have a German if he was he best available!!

Yeah its a strange one.  Looks like there must have been some unrest behind the scenes.

I'm sure the conspiracy theorists would say he timed his resignation well Smiley

Unless there is a family situation that he is keeping quiet the people at Hibs expect him to have a different job, yes.

Appears that he has had enough of the limited resources available to him.  I can see his point when he managed to ship 3 players to the old firm on inflated transfer fess totalling £8m+ and he is given next to no money to be spent.  Was probably told that Murphy and Fletcher would be on their way as well.  That said I will be surprised if he is "unemployed" for long.
