So I choose a hard and fast pitch to give me an easy draw:

The players are off the field for lunch.

End of Over 32 (4 runs). Bigglesthwaite CC: 93-4, runrate=2.91

Not the best result, given that everyone is on Defensive or V.Defensive. Still, There's a superb bat out in the middle and a strong left in the hutch, and I only need 155 more to avoid the follow on.

The good news is that I bowled him out this morning before he could declare and picked up the extra bowling point.

This BOT team are annoying me

they're now 125-8, with a half century maker at the helm, and their no 10 scoring 10 from his 1st 4 deliveries

Well the strong bat made 1, getting out to a low competent bowler at best...

Now need 100 more to avoid the follow on :|

Not looking good.  Bowlers have been very disappointing.  It is looking like a stick on draw which is no good to me.

The players are off the field for tea.

End of Over 87 (Maiden). phizz: 361-3, runrate=4.15
Trail by 42 runs. (KBOTW 403-5 dec)
Talamini 25-3-108-1
Berry* 65 (94 balls)
Nolan 17 (26 balls)

Last Wicket: Savage lbw b. Wardley 105 (FOW: 318/3)

You and me both mate!

Cracking innnings from him though, he's normally rubbish in FC.

Now I just want to get bowling at them ASAP and take advantage of the bad weather, if I can skittle them cheap I have a chance to win!

I have 34overs today where hopefully I will take advantage of their bowlers having PFL issues.  Rack up some quick runs tomorrow and take a bit of a gamble with my declaration total and hopefully my bowlers can perform.  Thats the plan anyway Smiley

The players are off the field for the change of innings.

End of Over 93 (9 runs). phizz: 380-4, runrate=4.09
Trail by 23 runs. (KBOTW 403-5 dec)
Perry 20-1-81-1
Nolan* 26 (42 balls)
Cooper 8 (15 balls)

Last Wicket: Berry lbw b. Wardley 67 (FOW: 363/4)

End of Over 7 (2 runs). Thame Town: 12-2, runrate=1.71 (1st Inn: 400-10 dec)

So far so good!

Just need to get out his stupidly high conc WK next!

And pray for sunshine tomorrow!
