Hopefully I can make it to 360 without further loss to deny them a bowling point...every little helps.

The players are off the field for tea.

End of Over 88 (Maiden). Boom CCC: 272-10, runrate=3.09 (1st Inn: 124-10)
Trail by 6 runs. (Matts Monkeys 402-0 dec)
Mercer 9-6-6-3
Fairlie-clarke* 56 (85 balls)

87.3 W Mercer to Fearns
Despite getting in a good stride Fearns was adjudged LBW. He won't be happy with that.

Not quite sure what we are going to do after the tea break - sit in a circle and sing camp songs together?

Quite pleased with the final figures for my spinner in this game, hope he can be as economical in the one day game on Friday

My captain decided to give them an extra over to try and get the bowling point but they failed.  Match is looking like a draw but you never know.

The players are off the field for the change of innings.

End of Over 26 (7 runs). three lions: 109-1, runrate=4.19 (1st Inn: 405-7 dec)
Lead by 134 runs. (KBOTW 380-2 dec)
Wardley 3-0-12-0
Saunders* 43 (77 balls)
Mulvaney 23 (27 balls)

Last Wicket: Weight c. Tau b. Perry 30 (FOW: 67/1)

Its looking like a draw however I'm toying with the idea of pulling a fast one and have some batsmen bowling.  They will presumably set a safe target which i would be very unlikely to reach however, if I get my batsmen to bowl they should score quickly therefore will declare earlier and I will have more overs to try and reach my target.  Obviously this makes the possibility of losing the game higher as my batsmen would have to bat for longer but I got faith lol.

Bowled them out for 118 in reply to my 311 but then was taken aback when the follow on was enforced as I thought I'd changed that option to No!

Really wanted to bat them out of the game on spinners pitch but clearly must remember to save the change to orders!!!

Knew they'd bat better second time round but have managed to keep them to 215-7 and just a small lead of 22.

Hope to wrap it up early tomorrow without any jittery run chases!

This one made me smile yesterday......

33.4 W Riggott to Mcdougal
Don't blame it on the ball shine, don't blame it on the great flight, don't blame it on the crease line, blame it on the googly! That's out!

Batters bowling so he reaches declaration far quicker than intended, how sneaky is that!  Brilliant Bazza!!

Good luck with the chase!
