tired misread?

I think Ketul had been a-bullying the table a bit too much and there hadn't been much playing back at him. Mis-timed though for sure. UL Tony, and all that...
Lucky Tony Id say

I think all players have enjoyed their fair share of luck to get this far, in truth. Obviously there's Maria's Kings hand from Day 1, and Dan Samson's A-K vs. Kings the other day. Remember Steve Jelinek busted LittleMissc's set of aces early doors too, not to mention his T-9 doubled up just a couple of hours back. Peaks and troughs I guess.
Imeant he won the pot not lost it Wink

Lloyd Rees is OUT and becomes the 8th place finisher winning £12,720

Well, perhaps Lady Luck is shining on Tony Phillips today after all as he's just added to his recent double through by taking out young Lloyd Rees from Bristol.

All-in pre-flop, Lloyd found himself in hot water...

Lloyd =

Tony =

Board =

Tony now a real dangerman in this final. How crucial might that K-4 vs. 9-9 turn out to be...

Fran Egan is OUT and becomes the 7th place finisher winning £15,900

Ginger Bulldozer Tony Phillips is unstoppable at the moment, his latest scalp being enigmatic, and perhaps slightly intoxicated Irishman Fran Egan.

With Fran raising it to 70k pre-flop, Tony called a couple of seats down and the two players saw a Flop.

Fran announced all-in, only to be instacalled by Tony.

Tony =

Fran =

Turn =

River =

As Tony celebrated with his fanbase on the rail, Fran looked as though he wanted to throw up, but resisted the urge to vomit in front of the cameras, instead taking defeat on the chin and shaking the hand of his foe before departing.

Some shots of the action.

First off we have the unfortunate Ketul, who has bullied the table fairly well today, looking a tad glum after coming unstuck with 9-9 against Tony Phillip's . I hope Ketul doesn't blow a fuse.

Next up here we have Kennedy shortly after his K-T lost out to Rudling's brave call with A-4. Ketul seems to be giving me the evil eye in the background whilst I probably didn't capture David in his finest moment here...

Finally here are the watching rail, applauding Kennedy as he departs the final table gracefully.

Ooops, don't forget your coat. It's a bit  out there!
