Sacking Strachan would be a huge mistake because he is a very good manager, and I don't think that Celtic could attract a better manager than Strachan.

Sam Allardyce. He would do well in a smaller league.

Nonsense mate.

Strachan has a knack of making good players bad, he is tactically naieve and despite being in control for almost 3 years the Celtic team hasn't improved.  He plays players out of position to the detriment of the team, the list of complaints is endless.  He has never been accepted at Celtic, but has got by because we where winning now when a POOR Rangers side are putting us under pressure he is being shown up for the poor manager he is.

He carries a degree of luck that is undeniable but he has to go if Celtic are to improve.

Mark McGhee, Tony Mowbray, Roy Keane are all names the fans like.  I think all would be welcomed.  My personal choice would be McGhee with Roy Aitken as his number 2.

Realistic targets.

Behave yourself bandit, not even the most ardent rangers fan would say the title is over. Strachan is doing ok. 9 league wins in a row before dundee utd, who are a much improved team, draw the tenth game and you want him to go ffs?Huh?

Since when have celtic fans 'conceded' the title in mid march? even when we were 15 points behind rangers we still (maybe stupidely) believed we could win the league.

Keep the Faith.

From the turn of the year I believed in order to win the league we would have to win every game to win the title.  Now last night was the perfect opportunity to apply pressure our next 6 games are away from home and we will struggle to win all of them.

As for Strachan he has went from one calamity to the next I have been patient enough with him but he has just doesn't have a clue.  Since he took over he still hasn't solved our defensive problems his record in the transfer market Naka and Boruc aside has been pretty dam poor he hasn't managed to defeat the Loyal Cardigan and the vermin since he came back.

We struggled in so many of those 9 SPL games, we have dropped points in games this season thats just not acceptable to Celtic.  His team selection in Barcelona!!  He's a wee fud - and then as recently as the weekend just passed he tells the press it doesn't matter what fans think - our opinions don't matter to him.

ffs bandit, his team selection in barcelona?Huh?? name any manager that would have picked a celtic team that would have got a result against barcelona. We're just not in their league. Agreed we haven't been great under strachan but he has got the job done in his 2 seasons so far and judgement should be reserved until may. As for conceding the tilte, then i think you will be in the minority. we have struggled through games during the last 9 games, but we have WON them. a draw last night not the end of the world. I hope your wrong.

i'm not saying any manager would have got a result in Barca mate.  But look at it this way we went to Barcelona needing to win by 2 clear goals to have a chance of progression.  Before we went Strachan went on about how it didn't matter the opposition - he mentioned the fact that there would be so many thousand tims would be there and he had a duty to have a go .....

Then he goes plays 1 up front and drops our top scorer ffs!

In another game this season he dropped McDonald claiming he needed a rest and then played him in a meaningless CIS cup game

He has for the past season refused to play Balde in favour of that useless ba**ard Caldwell to the detriment of the team.   i am not a Balde fan but he's the best we have.

He has squandered money in the transfer market on players and IMO he has not strengthened the team.

JVOH or John Hartson??

Lee Naylor has been terrible since we went out CL last season yet continues to get a game whenever he is fit.  Strachan went and wasted money on midfielder we didn't really need when his priority should have been a Centre-back and a left back.

Most recently as I stated in an earlier post he stated that the opinions of the fans don't matter - this is the shit he is telling player.

Fecking waking up call we the fans pay your fucking wages!

Excellent shout Tighty but I really don't think we would get Big Sam.  I am sure he has already been lined up for a job in the summer.

I've supported well since I can remember I have been going to games at home, away and in europe since the age of 6 on a regular basis - througout the majority of that period we struggles, I know what its like when the team are bad.  I also know what the good times are like.  What I can't stand is when we have players/managers who are not good enough for my club.

Last night was the straw that broke the camels backl.  We have been kidding ourselves on this season, every time we have had an opportunity to put pressure on the Rats of Govan we have faultered.  The blame of that lies with the manager, the buck stops with him.  He is inadequate and needs replaced.

Can't stand him.  But that has never really been an issue for me mate, I gave him the support and backing for 2 years when Celtic fans who felt some sort of emotional attachment to MON got on his back at every turn.  But as time goes on I am becomimg increasingly frustrated with him.
