The first event of the APAT World Championship Of Amateur Poker (WCOAP) will go on sale from the APAT website tonight (Thursday) at 9pm.  The WCOAP will be played at Europe's leading cardroom, Dusk Till Dawn in Nottingham.

The World Amateur Championship main event has a £100 buy in and 300 seats will be available to members.  The event will be played between August 28th & 30th.  Champion Nick Jenkins will be in attendance to defend the title he won at London's Victoria Casino in August of last year.

The Omaha Championship will go on sale (£50 buy in) at 9pm on Friday evening while the Horse Championship (£50 buy in) will go on sale at 9pm on Saturday evening.  The Omaha event will be played on August 27th and the Horse event will be played on August 30th.

Payment is via debit card and Delta (Visa debit card holders should select this), Maestro and Electron cards are accepted.  The payment link will appear in the lead article on the APAT home page at 9pm sharp.

i wanted to play either the horse or the plo but ryanair have made a pigs ear of the flights and it looks like it will mean staying down miles too long for a 1 day comp

Should also mention that their is a GUKPT Grand Final seat added to the prize pool of the main event for the winner!

Going for the PLO hopefully, can't be away bank holiday weekend I don't think, not sure it would go down that well.

What's the score for getting on the alts list for Cardiff?  Is it first come first served?  Sneeky put me down please, I'm 100% there Wink

Quick update that the WCOAP Omaha Championship goes on sale this evening at 9pm from the APAT home page.  The one day event takes place at Dusk Till Dawn on August 27th.  Players will start the event with 10,000 chips.

£50 entry, reg free.

With close to 400 seats sold, the first two events of the APAT World Championship of Amateur Poker; at Dusk Till Dawn in August, are completely sold out. 

Tonight at 9pm sees the WCOAP Horse Championship go on sale.   

Seats are £50 (no registration fee) via the APAT home page.
