Kuyt has to go and get Babbel on

Disagree.  Babel has flattered to deceive for me all season.  He's very frustrating as he has the talent and undoubted speed - but seems to be unaware that he's actually a gifted player.  He seems scared to take players on.  Kuyt's a very important player for Liverpool.

Well on the minus side we lost our young French midfield dynamo.

But on the plus side  we brought on the current captain of Brazil who was our penalty taker last season.

Game on.

Regardless of what happens in the rest of the game, two decisions from these master tacticians really bugs me.

1) Wenger weakening his defence by putting Toure at right back, bringing in Senderos and playing Eboue on the right wing. He could play the right back at right back, the centre back at centre back and bring a right winger, who could also be English (who would have thought!), on the right wing.

2) Benetez playing a 4-4-2 with two holding midfielders in the middle and the wide people who aren't proper wide people. Only Gerrard's unwillingness to stay out wide can possibly link any play up. Or Jamie Carrager beating people down the wing. Crazy.

Senderos had ten or twelve excellent games in a row before Toure came back into the team.

When Sagna got injured it was easily the best option to switch Toure to RB and bring Senderos back.

Toure IMO is a far better right back than Hoyte, in fact some would argue that it's his best position.
