Abramovich's funding of Chelski is structured as a loan

£564m to date and counting!!!

If he were to leave, watch the London property market collapse quicker!

You sure? There is a massive creditor in the balance sheet.

Also, this seems to have some worrying bits and pieces in it. Chairmen should not be involved in team selection or player recruitment. Ask Hearts.

last para

"If the owner's enthusiasm were ever to wane, and Abramovich decided he did want his loan back, the accounts show that Chelsea would have 18 months to find the money"

not that he will, but its interesting financial chicanery.

You could have saved me a £1. Really interesting set of accounts though (if thats not an oxymoron).

il save my £1!

if abramovich is to go chelsea will still be in better shape than when he bought them and as owner he is liable for any debt so basically he will owe himself! obviously he will look to sell the club any new owner would have to buy the debt just like he did.

on Betfair there is £39 available to lay on Mark Hughes at prices from 11.5/1 to 13/1 and £25 available to lay on Mourinho at 19/1 - 21/1.

Has there ever been an easier way to make £64?

any1 who can be arsed to tie up £480 until the new manager is announced should lay them now imo.
