Please keep us informed.

We all wish we could swap with youngsters who are unwell, but they have amazing resilience, & seem to cope better than Adults would in the same situation.

Surgery 4pm tomorrow now surgeon says he dont know how far the infection has gone into the foot but it dont look good. At least shes in the best place

Tomorrow? and they don't know how far it has gone. Can't she go on the emergency list for today.

God only knows not much faith in the hosp as when she had spina bifida as a baby they didnt spot it and if it wasnt for the queens med she would of died. Im sure claire is pushing it as we speak

Aparrently doing op last thing 2mor due to it being a dirty infection. Dr said he wont leave hospital till shes sorted lets hope not.

I know i call our hossy but i have seen so many times op's being schedualed for 2 pm, think that is post lunch , which everyone needs a break to work to 100%,  then done at very late evening ie 10.30 pm after all other op's ..parents get so very frustrated when emergencies arrive but they have to be sorted first. Think of it in a posative way, ie the doc thinks it is ok to leave it until then. Trust me, if he thinks it needs to be done this instant he would do it. xx
