phil clarke is also a blonde member....he is philthepower

gogogogo the locals,lol

MAN DOWN!!

Chase Wilson raises pre-flop to 4.6K

All fold round to Philip Clarke in the SB, who shoves all in for the remainder of his stack (a little over 13K).

Chase asks for a count, dwells and then makes the inevitable call.

Chase has
Philip has

and that river the means that Philip is the first casualty of the day.

Not much happening in the way of flops as yet ... despite deep stacks and plenty of play, it all seems to be raise ... fold  .. take the blinds and antes.

Slowly the re -raises are coming in as players suss out who the serial raisers are and snap them off.

Cagey stuff indeed.

Nearly Kev.  Close buy no cigar.  Watching raise-fold confrontations on one table, I see a burst of activity on another table and race over to see what the kafuffle is about.

This is what I see:

Mark Stafford with the  against Nick Carter's  .

Mark was down to a few hundreds and a poker ghost at the table.  There was no miracle comeback and he left us soon after that collision with the cowboys.

Ben Vinson continues to build his chip mountain.  He now has approximately lots of chips.

On the same table Cole Chapman's 4K raise is re-raised by Martin Jarvis, aka PelhamBoy.  Cole wasn't a merry old soul and mucked his cards after a short dwell.

Sigh ... My stint at the 3 remaining tables brought the minimum of rail excitement ... it briefly threatened to kick into life when we had an all in and a call ... only to find one of those frustrating AK v AK coups, not even a flopped flush advantage to satisfy my lust for action.

Trevor Pearson is out at the hands of Nick Carter ...

Trev's shortish stacked push with on the cut off, ran into Nick's Ladies

No shocks and Trevor departs the tourny.

David Tighe of Late Night Poker fame (sitting next to Maria also of Late Night Poker fame) shoves all in for his remaining 12K:

Ricky Gill, sitting there with 66K thinks for a while, whilst announcing that David hasn't played a hand today.   Ricky lays down a not insignificant Ace, obviously giving David a fair amount of respect.
