Rumour reaches me that Ironside was level in chips Heads Up & eventually chopped a comp at "Nash" (?) last night & took down £1,000.
How can this happen?
Where is this Nash?
How fishy must it be there?
PS - Wow! Well done fella.
Obv Chinese whispers. It should have been 'he was comped some chips and ate them with his nashers.'
"Nash" Romany slang: –verb (used without object) 1: To flee or depart suddenly, esp. to avoid embarrassment or without having paid one's bills. 2: To slip or get away, as from confinement or restraint; gain or regain liberty: to escape from jail. 3: To slip away from pursuit or peril; avoid capture, punishment, or any threatened evil. We in Scotland use the word Nash as used above also Tom. However Iron's use of the word Nash is the locals name for the International Cardroom in Aberdeen. Makes sense as Iron would proberly spell it thus - Inter nashonal. Well done Iron. Geo

Do you know what the lappers are?
It seems Ironside's success at the table has meant he's missed them two nights on the trot.

confirmation 1/ ironside did indeed chop £20 rebuy but was to be expected as he is most improved player at nash in aug 2/ 3 lapdancers appeared at casino asking if he was ok cos he had been missing for 4 nights and their takings had dropped by £500
3/any volanteers to run thro couple hundred hands with him
4/ he was showing off certificate for karioke prize {think it was forged }
