Here's a smattering of chip counts like a little assortment of random chocolates for your delectation.
Apologies if you get the coffee or orange, yuk.
Dana Immanuelle - up to 18,500, didn't win with kings a moment ago, but didn't lose either. Onwards and upwards!
Here she is looking cheeky as she sips her
vodka and gin
glass of water.
Bond villain
Seasoned poker veteran
Stuart
Nash
, looking menacing as he sweeps in his latest pot. Only 5,000 chips though...
Darren Shallis was propping up the rail, beer in hand of course. Sadly, he departed a while ago. After taking an early hit against A-K, he managed to build back up to 14,000 before raising it up with kings, finding two callers, and running into a flopped set of threes. Cooler than a mother-in-law's kiss.
There are a number of players lingering around the 50k mark, but it would appear as though Huseyin Yilmaz is your current chip leader with 67,000.
Huseyin Yilmaz (pictured) -- 67,000
Ken
Wong
-- 60,500

G Stafford just found himself all in and fighting for his tournament life against Sunny Chattha. Stafford will have been relatively content with his
, but maybe experiencing a mixture of relief and frustration as the Hit Squadder tabled the same hand,
. Meeting everyone's secret desires, the board was a dramatic one, a
flop and turn dealing both players a flush draw and sending the rest of the table into a frenzy of oohs and aahs. But, as always seems to be the case in these situations, the anti-climaxal river missed both players and the pot was duly chopped up. Nevertheless, Stafford remains low and will be looking for further opportunities to push in the upcoming rounds.

Dave
Smith
has amassed a mountain of chips. I couldn't get in a good position to snap him in his usual black suit ensemble (sans yellow flower sadly) but will do so at some point. I made a rough estimate of his stack at 40,000 which is very nice thank you very much.
Stuart "The Nutter" Rutter - 7k.
Not Stuart's real nickname but I like it. Stu was out in Vegas where both he AND his brother managed to simultaneously lose their passports - clumsy!.
After two weeks of beatings in Guantanamo Bay however he was released back to the UK black and blue but a wiser man.
Jerome
Bradpiece
- 16k.
Jerome grew up in a cave and lives for honey. All his poker winnings have been spent on honey apart from a small portion which he kept aside to donate to charities which support disadvantaged and handicapped bees.
One day he hopes to have enough honey to take on
Albert
Sapiano
in a high stakes HU4honeyrollz game. There can bee only one.
Neil
Channing
- 12k.
Neil
Channing
's success in life and poker has led to him now reputedly staking 63% of the known world. Small children in hitherto undiscovered unknown villages deep in south america have now been bought into the WSOP ME next year by Neil. "It's the only way to beat variance."
He has recently started a petition to let chimpanzees play in poker competitions as he is running out of humans to stake. "There's an old saying. Give a million chimpanzees a million buyins and one of the hairy fellas is gonna run good" someone who could have been Neil was heard saying.

Sunny
Chattha
and Stu Rutter were both hovering around the 14k mark when this hand broke out between them.
Sunny raised to 1,725 from early position and Stu Rutter called from the small blind.
The flop fell
.
Check from Stu and check from Sunny.
TURN:
Stu reached into his stack and pulled out 2,500 which he then proceeded to bet.
Sunny thought about it before picking up the requisite five 500 chips to call...which he did.
RIVER:
Stu now bet out 4.5k which was enough to send Sunny flying into the tank for quite some time. After several minutes of contemplation, someone called the clock just to make sure Sunny wasn't in a coma but he eventually called, only to be shown 8-8 by Stu for a set which was clearly good as Sunny mucked his cards.
He was left very short with 4.5k left whilst Stu is back up to over 20k and starting to look in good shape for the first time this tournament.

Jeff Buffenbarger or "Beefburger" as he is known to his friends just took a hit, losing out to a shortstack with pocket Aces against the shortstacks pocket Tens.
A ten on the flop left the burger needing to ketchup, but the chips went the wrong way, his opponent relishing the blank turn and a blank river lettuce all rush off to report the horrendous outdraw.
This report brought to you by badpuncentral.com.
Jeff still has 25k or so though at thsi point.
Faring less well are the aforementioned Sunny Chattha who is OUT and the muticoloured Josh Tyler who has been temporarily silenced by the loss of all his chips.
Better news coming for all Dana fans though (and there's lots of you fanatical Danamaniacs with big wigs, pseudo banjos and half empty bottles of bournon cheering her on...I know!)
Snoopy has the scoop...

Christmas has come early for one
Dana
Immanuel
. With chip daddy Huseyin Yilmaz limping under-the-gun for 600, Mateyboy on the button made it 1,800 to play and Dana reraised to 4,500. Expected to fold, Huseyin pushed all in, leading to a fold from the button and a swift call from Dana who shoved her remaining 15,000 over the felt.
Dana =
Huseyin =
Board =
Dana now has over 40,000 in chips.
Neil
Channing
and
Josh
Tyler
have been eliminated from today's event, although Neil obviously has money invested in the eventual winner, whomever it may be.
'The Mole' Stephen Boyd is in a hole after being snipered down by fellow online pro
Rob
Sherwood
.
"Do you know what happened to The Mole, Rob?" I probed.
"Yeah," he giggled, "it was me who took him out."
"What happened?"
"Er... I did him over with pocket sevens against pocket eights," he replied. "He only had 4,000 at the time after bluffing off all his chips."
"Come on," his neighbour jumped in, "it cost you about a third of your stack."
Rob tried to laugh it off, but it was clear that his neighbour was revealing a few home truths and preventing Rob from downplaying his story.
"Say it was 9/10ths of his stack now," he continued, "just to make it him look as bad as possible."
After being down to just a few thousand, Irishman come Brummie (it's a rare transition)
Adam
Wilkinson
is now boasting a sumptuous-in-comparison stack of 30,000 after doubling up with Q-2 versus 8-6 and J-J versus T-T. Sounds easy when I put it like that.
After a plucky performance,
Sunny
Chattha
has left the arena courtesy of Eddie Gaines (pictured). With
versus
, the
flop teased Sunny before the
turn and ineffective
river sent him packing. There are rumours going round that Eddie was using an earpiece and new exactly where he stood in the hand - although this is yet to be confirmed.

I'm tempted to act biased and revolve the update around Dana, but there's no real need to really as she's been immersed in a number of big hands. Unfortunately, her last encounter didn't fall her way, pushing all in from the button after Pete Singleton had raised in middle to late position and Paul Lammas had come over the top from the cut-off. As expected, Pete leapt out of the way as Paul and Dana tabled
and
. No joy for the Banjo Bully on the
board gave Paul the pot and left Dana with circa 28,000 in chips after suffering a 10 to 15,000 hit.
Just as I was heading back upstairs towards the press room, I managed to catch a hand, and consequent double up, from the table nearest the door. On the receiving end was big chipper Adam Lawler (pictured) who had called Gary Avery's all in with pocket fours. Gary showed pocket queens, which subsequently stood up on a 6-K-7-J-K rainbow board. It would have required Rainman to tot up the chip count as he raked them across the felt, but it couldn't have been too much more than 10,000.

Aaron Short just shoved for his stack of 13,000 over the top of Leo Kam's raise only to be called all-in behind. Dave Smith also thought about calling before eventually passing.
Short may have been living up to his name with a mere 13k but this was all about to change as his Kings held versus his opponent's Tens, meaning he pretty much doubled up and one quick trip to the deed pole office later he is now know as Aaron Decently Stacked.
(incidentally I was mistaken about the absence of Dave Smith's flower - it's there in all it's yellow glory - here's the proof...)

Stu Rutter was down to 2,000 at one point but has battled and battered his way back to a far more respectable 33,000. Go Stu!

Jonothon Butters is a slippery customer and he has just put the skids under Ryan Fronda's tournament, sending him to the rail.
Details are scarce but Fronda has been sent to grace the catwalks of europe once more whilst Butters is moving ever closer to the bread.

Dana
Immanuel
is now one of your potential chip leaders after eliminating two players in the space of three hands.
Not long after returning from the break, Wai-Ming Lam made his move from late position with
, only to be picked off by Dana's
in the small blind which duly survived a
board.
Two hands later, Dana called
Pete
Singleton
's preflop raise from the cut-off, before betting 6,000 on the
flop after Pete had checked. Without too much hesitation, Pete raised all in. After asking what the count was, Dana shook her head dejectedly before calling the extra 7,550 and tabling
. Pete showed
.
The
turn added eight extra outs with an open ended straight draw, but it was the set that arrived, the
on the river delivering Dana the pot and leading to Pete exiting with the most disgruntled of looks.
Dana was still collecting her chips as I left, but she must surely have around the 70k mark and odds on to finish the day in the top three.

Rob Sherwood doubled through at the death with

of Paul Campbell. Harmless
board.
On a
board, Albert Sapiano pushes all in to an 8,500 pot for around 15,000 in chips. Mo Muse eyes up his opponent carefully before folding.

Some quick counts before we get final confirmation of today's standings from the Raabster.
The much followed lover of lasagna Rob Garfield has 25,000.
Johnathon Butters, shortly after taking care of Ryan Fronda, has milked his way to a 30k stack.
The honey monster Albert Sapiano has seen his stack fluctuate almost randomly before settling upon 22,000 just a few minutes prior to the end of proceedings today.
Unless he runs into any sticky situations he should return with this for day 2 tomorrow.
And with those last few snippets of information we have reached the end of the day!
Once Mr Raab's busy little fingers have finished typing up and sending us the chip counts, we'll disperse these amongst you, the blonde faithful but till then we can look back on a great day's poker that has seen beats, big hands and excitement aplenty.
One lady has taken the tournament by storm though and we have to herald her, as she will do unspeakable things with a banjo if we fail in our duty, so I give you Dana Immanuelle, close to the chip lead and happy as larry with a wonderful day.
Here she is taking a few moments out to give Snoopy a tip or two.
Keep up Snoops!
Day Two should be superb. We'll see you back here for a 2 o'clock start. I can't wait, we know you can't wait, Snoopy can't wait but wait we must.
For now though
