Anyone flying out for the WSOP with BA?

Here the newly proposed BA cabin crew strike  dates from May 18-22, May 24-28, May 30-June 3 and June 5-9

The Heathrow/Vegas flight is a 777 and will almost certainly fly during the strike dates as this fleet has the most volunteer/temp crews trained on it.

However if your transfering in from Scot/NI etc on BA i would be making provisional plans as shorthaul will probably suffer heavily.

If you havn't already booked flights i expect the other carriers will be hiking prices as i type.

Wow. Didn't realise this topic hasn't been updated for a while. Unless there is a new "going to Vegas" thread I've missed.

Just booked flights for next March - Wed 28th to Sun 1. Mid-life crisis long weekend with 3 home-game friends. We'll be 39,40,42,47. I'm the baby, and the only one who has any organisational capacity at all. Sigh.

Hugely looking forward to it, even if it is 8 months away. Cheesy

I'm thinking start looking for hotel offers about 3 months out. We'll probably want something reasonable without being able to afford anything too up-market. Mid-strip for convenience. Anyone ever stayed at Paris? Seems to fit the criteria - mid-price (compared to Wynn, Bellagio, Venetian), and decent location? Last time I went I stayed in MGM, which was good, but location could be better. Something similar price but 1/2 mile further north would be good.
