I think a better proposal would be instead of playing against the presenter, the winner got a chance to BE a presenter for a night!

How do I think I got the job in the first place?!

charming boyish personality... no thats not it

poker skills... no thats not it....

Wink

prepared to listen to tikay for 3 hours a night...come on amc, this is a highly specialised job that only a few people could do, lol!

they start off on the cash tables until 9.30pm , then they go to the 500Gtd presenter tourney.

Its a bit dear at 11 pounds but only 80 people joined, putting the prize money up to about 800 pounds.

So its good value and a there's a better chance of making the money.

They then go to a cash table, and last night it was a 10 seater.

Michelle Orpe did really well starting with 50 pounds and getting up to 180 by midnight , when she turns back into a Pumpkin

Richard got hammered down to 5 pounds , but after hours of grinding , built his stack up to nearly 25 pounds

Yes I did play them, I sat down with 5 pounds , and finished with 15

In my defence, my black-feathered friend, that wasn't an offical night for me. I noted Orpey was on and saw a gilt-edged opportunity to boost my winnings. Obviously things didn't turn out quite as I'd planned, but nonetheless I'm still £75 up and I'm playing my second night tonight. Bring it on my fellow Blondites,  I'm ready to rumble. 7pm, if you dare.

PS- I'm still miles ahead of Tikay's bankroll at the moment...

Richard Orford played well tonight, in the early low limit cash tables.

He managed to get about half way in the 500 GTD presenter match

Then on to cash again. He finished about 92 pounds up after 5 hours playing so well done m8

The chat was like this;

THE-CROW> Evening all
THE-CROW> caawww
joefire> cmon the crow
themackem> hi crow
GREGHOGG> as soon as i sit down mr crow appears
GREGHOGG> hi m8
THE-CROW> Hi greg
THE-CROW> So its Sky money tonight Rich
RichOrford> yep- that's why I'm up, because I'm forced to play sensibly with someone else's money Crow
RichOrford> instead of my usual shambles

THE-CROW> Play sensibly ? Can you do that ?

( Richard calls an all-in with pocket kings )
the other player themackem also has.....pocket kings    Its a split

RichOrford> that's the mad thing about poker- play ABC all night and slowly build your chipstack,
then in one hand you're forced to call the lot in faith that you're not up against the one hand that's beating you

THE-CROW> was that playing sensibly though ?

RichOrford> ok, hands up who wouldn't have called their entire stack with KK?
themackem> i would have to play

RichOrford> in some ways, it's crazy to call, because themackem must have been on at least QQ, KK, AK, AA

themackem> hard to put me on kk

RichOrford> true

joobie538> evening all!!!!
RichOrford> it's the joobster!
joobie538> so how much have you lost tonight rich?
RichOrford> i've lost 45 pounds...
RichOrford> ...of other  people's money for them Smiley
joobie538> booooooo
RichOrford> hehe
RichOrford> feeling hot to trot
RichOrford>  three quid up on this table and living it large
FlopHunter> lol
RichOrford> who's going to brimingham on the 8th?
FlopHunter> me:D
joobie538> ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
MAZERAIDER> i will be there
FlopHunter> im traveling from merry old scotland lol
FlopHunter> partially coz im satying at my aunts
joobie538> reminds me i need to qualify for edinburgh
FlopHunter> yeah but i will be serving then
RichOrford> in the armed forces?
FlopHunter> yep i leave on the first of december
FlopHunter> phase 2 training

FlopHunter> rich can u answer me a question that has been on my mind for a while???
RichOrford> depends flophunter....fire away
FlopHunter> why does Dan always where tight pink shirts on the club lol ??
RichOrford> lol
THE-CROW> dont say fire away at an Army man Rich
PHARLAP777> lol
FlopHunter> lmao
RichOrford> LOL!
joobie538> lolol

THE-CROW> So are you really 110 pound up m8
RichOrford> yep, tho that could be 92 up by the time i leave this table!
THE-CROW> Ok can I print that

RichOrford> sure, make sure you spell tikay correctly: F-I-S-H
RichOrford> Wink

On his last hand , Richard pushed 12 pounds all in with King Queen

Got called and beat by DrewMcRobb with King nine, when a king and nine hit the board

My turn tonight, hope to see a few of you there.

If you are new to Sky Poker, & don't have an account already, please use the banner/link at the head of this page, as blonde earn a fee for each sign-up, and a further amount once a certain amount has been raked.

Sorry for the spam, but we gotta pay the bills somehow.

Back to tonight. I'm recording a Show on Saturday, which will review tonight's Play The Presenter, the plays, the chats, the characters, & it will be transmitted next Tuesday or Wednesday.

See you later. I'm playing.....

15p 30p Cash to start with, from 7pm until 7.40pm.

25p-50p Cash, 7.45pm until 8.25pm.

50p-£1 cash, from 8.30pm, until 9pm.

The £500 Guaranteed Tourney, at 21.30, £10+£1.

And then, after busting/winning that, & until midnight, 25p-50p Cash.

And then to bed.....
