Are blonde doing updates on this comp?

That's the plan.

i think it would be better off having a 1K comp with the GUKPT structure then run sats all next year for a £3-5k freezout with this strucure. Its too slow for a £1k event imo.

That's an elitist attitude.

If it's a good structure for a £3-5k event, then it's good for a £1k event. The only difference is how much the money means to you.

£1k is a lot to some peeps.

its a lot to me to. I just think that when this event is over what are DTD gonna do next. This is a great idea, but has come too early imo. What are they gonna have as a structure for the £2k+ fo's?  I personaly think the structure is too long for a 100 runner comp. Although ill prolly be donating

That just assumes that a cheaper event should have a worse structure for no other reason than it's a cheaper event.

yeah but there is less juice on a smaller event. So the players pay less to play.

So your argument is that players should receive as little as possible in return for their juice?

I think it's nice of them to give the 'average Joe' a chance to play a great structure like that for a good deal less.  If we weren't rolling up to the Christmas, I'd be doing all I could to get there.

If i ever stump up a grand out of my own pocket to play a comp, this is the one I would play.  If I am paying a grand for my entry fee, i want to be sure i am going to have a chance to play some poker without being pressured by the structure.

I just think its unnessary to have an event run over two days live for say £100, people have to go to work, stay in hotels etc... deep structures are widely available online. My main point tho tom is that you can only go so far with a structure before it stops becoming poker and becomes a cooler contest where people wait to see if they come out on the toasty side of an AA v KK coup

depends what u mean by 'chance to play poker'  is it a chance to splash about in pots and outplay oppos during the early levels, or be sure to find AA

if its the former than the £300 monthly gives plenty of chance for that

No. Because if that was the case you could steal every pot where someone doesn't have the nuts.
