Richard Wheatley raises to 600 in early position, only for Julian Thew to re-pop him for 1,500 total. Call. Flop: Wheatley bet out 1.8k and Julian flat calls. They proceed to see a turn card. Turn: -- and it's checks all round. River: Wheatley checks, and Julian nonchalantly bets 3k, more than half of his remaining stack. After a moment's thought, Wheatley calls -- only for Julian to flip over some rather unexpected . Wheatley flashed the and mucked his other card. Wheatley: down to 6k Julian: up to 14k

Richard Wheatley had a useful start...up to 10,000 before the above pot with Julian knocked him back to 6k or so. "Touch me up a bit!" shouted Wheatley in somewhat sinister fashion as he spied me cropping his photograph. Well I'm prepared to get rid off your red-eye Richard but that's where I draw the line!

Yes indeedy. James Browning doesn't feel so good and he knew that he would when he saw Greekfish's hand win a race versus his sevens. His piscine nemesis' A-J made two pair by the river in an all-in coup to leave Browning's sevens floundering and his tournament hopes done and dusted. Here is a shot of his executioner, the man who has increased sales of noise reducers worldwide..."Greekfish" newly moved to table Trickett/ Goodwin. Note how Greekfish is making an early bid for Terminator Of The Day. (I think he'll win...)

Norkage Of The DayThe female form is at a premium in the G casino today as table upon table of hairy men ply their trade at the felt. Luckily though, this wonderful lady is here to redress the balance. Gentlemen, enjoy...

DINNER!
The players are on a 45 minute break to fill their bellies.
We'll see you all shortly. Currently we have Jerome Bradpiece as the chip leader with 30k or so...

There is a 4k stack sitting where Paul King was, prior to rushing off to the buffet.

We're Back! With the players re-populating the card-room about to restart, we just have a few moments to announce... COMPETITION OF THE DAY!Not open to anyone actually playing in the competition but a poser to all you reading at home with a pretty hefty first prize on offer. To whom does this random assortment of objects belong??? The winner will receive a whole 5$ (yes that's right 5 WHOLE dollars) transferred to them!!! So join in, first guess only qualifies.
