Wouldn't mind seeing Will Fry go deep, if only because he could provide some entertainment in the latter stages. Oh, and of course best of luck to Dewi, LeKnave, Chili and all the other blondeite still plugging away.

Mayhew ftw imo.

Boba's done well to struggle back from a shortstack and stay in the hunt.

Go Mayhew 10% Cheesy Good luck also to my mate Jim Buckley (Splash on here). I'm unlikely to head down later but get to FT and I'll come and rail you both!

Sorry Tom that was me with the A9 yesterday. Table was serial limpers of which I was guilty too due to the guy on my right that was unbluffable pre and I wanted to see flops with. Tom will know who I mean. I was convinced you were just raising out limpers pre from late so you were ul and left with a tough TT decision.

My report copied from Betfair below. I'll post it here too just because Snoops and NFH were reporting. I've never met them before and although I still read these boards I've not posted for ages. The guys do a fantastic job reporting so more power to them and good luck today guys.

back now and feeling sorry for myself. Not at any horific beats but at the quantity of them. I've had enough misfortune for more than one tournament and yet played real well for long spells today.

I was down early with KK getting beat on 9 high flop I was ch called. A on turn was checked to me and after action I didnt think this was a bad card so fired again and was called, he then fired 6k on brick river. I passed he didnt show but pretty certain was set of . Lev 2 I get AA one limper in before I raise passed to limper who calls again. Flop 632 he checks I bet, he checks the turn poss fl draw but I fire again slightly bigger more of a blocker and he calls. he checks river and I check behind him and he shows 54 for the straight. Down to 9k but still ok with structure.

I nurse it for about 2 hurs then get on a rush with A9 on bb and a flop of 998. I check shove against Red Dog who dwells and puts me on a drawing hand which is exactly what I wanted it to look like and he calls with TT. Pretty soon after get KK flop K high I lead out and get raised. I shove and pick up a decent pot then a few small ones and get to 32k.

Shortly after 2nd break I get a table move and first hand was TT on bb and flop a set. I win decent pot leading into button raiser and play close to 40k.

Next orbit was the hand listed higher up but not quite accurate. Ep raiser was active and was about third pot in four hands he made 725 (150/300) so I three bet in late with 44 to 2275 and all pass to him who calls. Flop T84 he checks I fire 3k and he calls. Turn was third club he checks I fire 3k hoping for ch-raise as I'm sure its not the flush he calls. River 6 and he leads for 8k. I dwell and call saying if its flush I have to pay him off but it was 97 for the most unlikely straight.

Still comfortable with around 19k I lose a few small pots passing JJ twice n ivercard flops amd then shut down for a while before making a tough call with AJ on KQJK4 board and being good v 99.

I then made one very bad mistake. I didnt play a hand for about two orbits and then raise in late with 43. Flop JTT and the ep player (same 97 man) checks I lead for 1300 he makes it 3400 and I make it 7200. He shoves and I cant call. I had bet out expecting to be ch-raised with the intention of three betting but I guess he felt he could push me off and was right.

I then nurse stack for next 2 and a half hours and dwindle to 5k. With my bb in and 4600 behind I look down to AA. An utg raiser to 1200 and two callers I shove two of the three complete and check it to river but my AA is good for a treble and I'm on 16500.

Very next hand I get QQ in sb and utg limps utg+1 makes it 1400 passed to me. Theres only 40 mins left in day and I decide just to shove. I'm sure they wont believe I have a hand straight after last one and on a bit of a rush. Iif I run into AA or KK then so be it as a chance I'm prepared to take hoping for a loose call from JJ/TT but happy even to collect the 3k+ in the middle and start again tomorrow with 20k. Passed to raiser and he dwells which is good so I think I'm in front or its getting passed. He eventually calls with AK playing about 35000 which tbh I think is a bad call but some may disagree. Flop 88A and thats me gone.

Excellent tournament and Iwas fortunate to see a lot of cards but I just couldnt make them work for me. Biggest comp I've played in this country and really annoying not to run even average for once.

At least I have 10% of Ben so gl to him and Wonky for tomorrow.

BTW I wish I had 72k chips - obviously a typo, should be 33k I think.
(Would have to be some kind of multiple rebuy for me to have that many!!).

GL for the £300-er.

You lost about 40K in chips overnight without playing a hand?  That is a bad beat.

Will see you later on, and I expect you to still be sitting in a seat.
