Any takers for this bargain I spotted on todays lunchtime walk?

Tesco have a load of fuck ups like that atm - 2 Irn Brus for £1.70, although they are 64p each, for example.

I noticed that most of them are where other things are included in the "2 for" offer and cost more, eg Irn Bru's, Oasis, Coke bottles are all in the same offer, but the Oasis is £1.09 compared to the 64p Irn Bru.

The tills are also canny. If you buy 2 Irn Bru's, you're charged £1.28 and no discount is taken off.

But the Brus are in their own offer atm.

This site is great

http://www.voucherhub.com/

Just used it to get a valid coupon for £10 off at dominos when you spend £25 or more.

Wet and miserable outside and I've got nothing in so ordered out. Came to about £20 so I knocked on a tub of Ice Cream for my freezer and a thing of Irn Bru and got it for £15 instead

Mint!!!

http://m.hotukdeals.com/mobile_item/673587/8-items-for-8-each-orangeaccessorie

Just bought 10 GPS at and 10 ext HDD all at £8 each.

Site now appears to be crashing. Crashed during all of my payments, continually reloading it got there in the end.

I'm bracing myself for 'ooo we ran out of stock ldo' but I believe after order confirmation they have to supply, refund is not sufficient ('Loss of Bargain' etc)

This concept is news to me, is there a consumer law that allows a supplier to rescind on a contract if the price was obviously a bit low?

I know that if you take a 2p TV in Currys to the checkout and they say 'oops, our mistake, no deal', there is no contract so they can just ask you to gtfo. But they have taken my money and agreed to supply that product at that price = contract. Non?

http://www.venables.co.uk/n0203mistakes.htm

It appears that if it is ludicrously low then "the purchaser could not reasonably have supposed that the offer expressed the real intention of the person making it, and must have been aware it was a mistake."

£8 seems okish for a GPS no?  Grin

Perhaps not strictly a nits thread, but saves some hassle if you have the need for some

Got to be a piss take surely?

"Good: This is soooooooo much easier than trying to get the Wolf Urine directly from a Wolf. Wolves are, from my experience, VERY possessive of their urine.""
