Just out of curiosity, what grade is the race that blonde is sponsoring, A6, or "open" ?

Here's to a deserving winner anyway.

obv Blondes finances are looking up

blonde isn't financing the £40 cost of a race sponsorship, It is a gift to us from a senior blonde member.

What exactly do you mean by "senior"?

senior - advanced in years; (`aged' is pronounced as two syllables); "aged members of the society"; "elderly residents could remember the construction of the first skyscraper"; "senior citizen"

Does that mean anyone with a spare £40 can sponsor a race and name it?

No Idea TBH Barney ... I think this offer may be because we are taking one of the races direct from Mick's Sponsorship of the meeting ... so its a % payment of his cost.

Was just thinking it could be a good joke pressie for some people to have a race sponsored after them.

Well .... when Mick asked us and said we could name the race !!!

The suggestions would have made boldies hair curl Wink ... but they are of course monitored and scrutinised before acceptance.

lol..very interested to hear the suggestions now Smiley

have fun all.

I have a simple but effective system for betting in random graded races.

Just bet on the youngest dog in each race.
