Draughts is not a kids game Jon, read this thread, it has been proven to be a wrong answer. I wouldn't normally give a flying fk but it's Kev's answer.

I don't even think draughts is a boxed game.
In Porridge, Fletcher and the old lag he played draughts with used to have half the board each and take their half away with them at the end of a match. There was no box. If draughts was a boxed game they'd have put the board in a box. The box the game came in. But they didn't, so there wasn't.

Solid gold thread
Never heard of that as a boxed game !! You're surprisingly cocky for a bloke who put draughts. I think you're gonna get fooked for that one mate. Proper fooked. I know it comes in a box but so does everything ffs. I think you is gettin some big points there. Don't worry - I've already got a solid gold argument for knocking draughts out. Its in a fkin box, it doesnt have dice or cards, its a kids game..... I see no boxes in those photos of unboxed draughts sets.

lol, pick a picture of a game as an ace - then put that two people pick it so it isn't an ace then also use a picture of the game that clearly shows that there were cards used in the game........

And Operation had cards that you played with (therefore, playing cards), so that's out.

That is an interesting point. And it is a point that AndrewT has made - so that makes it really likely to be correct. The Appeals Committee have not received suitable evidence to make a judgment - appeal time: Extended
