Wow.....well what a truly great , friendly and welcoming Sofa's family are. We had a great time where they spoilt us rotten. So much funny stuff happened too. James will most likely be able to tell that better than me.

It started off where we met in a car park, James was meeting us on a quad bike, so when I saw a fella pull up on one I waved excitedly hoping to hell it was him, but he looked so Cypriot that I was not too sure but once he  spoke in a Welsh accent I realised it was. We then set off, or at least attempted to set off to James home. LOLOLL, the Quad bike cut off, then just as he restarted it and said OK ready, he revved up and it was in reverse, we were pissing ourselves already and we had only been in his company less than 5 Min's. That was priceless I so wish we were videoing our meeting and would have captured it.

Eventually we set off,  on approach to his home he said guess which one's mine, lol, there on the fence was the Blonde Bash on tour banner.... his very very friendly wife greeted us at the door. She is one in a million. Mel can't do enough for you and I can see why James made her his wife. Niall then joined us and what a credit he is to them. He is so like his Dad, sense of humour, gentle and a bloody card shark. Also had the pleasure of meeting James;s sister and friend. also great folk. One has to keep a close eye on ones undergarments as James has trained the dog to nick them so that he can secretly wear them at night when he is alone. His home is fantastic pool the works.

True to his word James had a boat set up for us, not a little gentle rowing boat, a top of the range fekkking SPEED BOAT. To say I shit myself was an understatement but I would not have missed it for the world. We set off and just out of the harbour the boat broke down. It could only happen to us lol. We could not stop laughing. It gave James time to tell us a few tales of how he and a friend once set off from the same harbour on Jet Skies in front of all tourists only to slowly sink and needed rescuing LOLOLOLOLOL in full view of all and sundry. The replacement boat in the harbour would have been quite sufficient for us but oh no, they had other ideas and off they went with the trailer to fetch yet an even bigger speed boat. WE truly were spoilt. Once out at sea we did this spinning thing, then went out more to see Farmagusta from the sea. We then stopped just off the coast and anchored down and the guy that was steering the speed boat turned to me asked me straight out of the blue " have you ever had a ribbed one " WTF...I thought I knew there was a catch to this. I thought it was some sort of perversion trip. But Alas he was talking boats. Shame really he was quite a handsome young thing. Next came a reet surprise. James brings out a cooler box which held various drinks, Two glasses and a bottle of Moet for us it was all I could to hold back my emotions but I did as  i could not have this big Welsh fella that we had only met 2 hours previous think I was an emotional wreck.

Then came the BBQ, Whilst cooking we learnt that not only is James BBQ King, magician, and a  Piano player he is also a Tap Dancer, his skills are bleeding endless. The food was excellent Mel is a great cook too. We had a lovely afternoon then when the others had left we settled down with Mel ,Niall and James for a relaxing night in which was just great. We slept over too ( Ty Niall).

Next day off we went walking along the sea which is viewed from the family home to the Secret Beach that no one knows about, or at least that is what James has thought for the last 2 years until the guy on the boat informed him that they hold their beach parties there on a regular basis and almost everyone in Cyprus visits it. On to lunch once again courtesy of James and Mel then we parted company and set off back to Pafos after a most wonderful  funny, and very very perfect visit.

James Mel and Niall thank you all so very much we had a ball and like I said when you return home we would love to return the hospitality and treat you guys.

Piccies to follow when I get home.

Also Thanks to Tony (TK)  for bringing this community together and allowing us to meet folk like this family that we most likely would never have done with out BLONDE.

I'm sitting reading this, & tears are rolling down my cheeks. I can't explain. Happiness, not laughter, thankfulness, we have some wonderful peeps on blonde, & Sofa is right up with the best. A proper man, a real man. It's been a dreadful week for me, blonde-wise, but Sofa, you just made up for everything. Thanks bud.

Further comment on this will be on my Diary, shortly.

PS - Just one thing. Tap-Dancing? TAP-DANCING? James tap-dancing? I'm not having that. A 23 stone Welsh donkey tap-dancing? No way.

Just a bit.

He'd never met Maureen before, & only "knew her" throiugh blonde.

He's probably the biggest donator to the various "Reece" fund-raising things, too, though he does it under the radar. When we had that dreadful P4C thing with Reece's money, I feared that James might actually get himself in deep trouble - I swear to God, I was scared he'd inflict GBH on someone.
