danny quick clarifaction

are you after catherdral or ecomonic cities

there are some that are in one but not the other

Did google tell you that ?

i live near 3 cities

1 is a cathedral city
1 is an economic city
and 1 is both

i aint as thick as you

i just cant type or spell

A city has a charter.

Any town can call itself a city - and many towns which have a cathedral do call themselves cities.

But they're not actually cities unless they've been granted city status

It's legally defined by UK law

I don't see the relevance of the Scottish Parliament

I very much doubt the presence of cathedrals will have much bearing on kinboshi's judgement as to what constitutes a city.

lol - no.

Some cities are for historical reasons, some are for economic - neither history or economics is what defines a city.

Oh, and Carpet City isn't a correct answer.

Cathedral City is a brand of cheese.
