I have seen Nadal absoutley crush Murray on at least 3 occasions, Wimbledon 08', Indian Wells 09 and I think it was Hamburg 08 (admittedly on clay). I can't recollect any game even being slightly close, the closest being the one Murray did win at last years US open.

Erm...so the last time they played in a big tournament Murray won. Murray's been steadily improving and still has a way to go. There was a Spanish coach who trained Murray & Nadal as youngsters and he reckons Murray has a far better all round game than Nadal.

Don't get me wrong, I reckon Nadal's definitely in the top 10 players who've ever played the game, but Murray's nearly there.

Using Murray's record in grand slams is just about the worst arguement ever for his potential.
