I was Scottish Champion at fencing. Winning it was one of the most disappointing days of my life.

Oh yeah, Saturday morning kid's telly. I have a few of those!

I spoke on the telephone to Huey Lewis on Saturday Superstore, but they spelt my name wrong on the screen I was also on hold one week to speak to Su Pollard, but they ran out of time. Gutted I was.

My brother also won the first 'silly sound contest' on same show (where Keith Chegwin gave away a kazoo) that had rolled over a whole week. I knew the answer, but was too embarrassed to ring up, so Dan did it instead. The prize was a crappy red plastic jobbie, not all shiny and gold like Cheggers said it would be.

During my pop-star groupie days I managed to get on to the set of Going Live when they were doing an OB at Yarmouth Castle and was dancing around like a loon with my mates behind the group we were following. Afterwards some little kids came to ask me and my mates for our autographs as they thought we were pop stars

I was in the promotional video for Electric Dreams (Phil Oakey sang the Title track for it).  The prom video though wasn't with Phil Oakey but Boy George (Love is Love).    It's on You Tube and I'm in the yellow Banana colour all jumpsuit running after a hoover to get it's autograph.

Boy George, Love is Love track.  It was a trailer video used for Electric Dreams.  Shown in cinemas mainly (those upcoming films bit) although it was shown once to my knowledge on TOTPs.         And for my blatant, I'm over 40 brag post, i was also in Murphys Mob as a kid extra (the young wippet snappers won't have heard of that though)

I'll start,I have a condition called hetrochromia,which is just a posh way of saying i have an odd coloured eye.Some people notice straight away(usually women) others who have known me for years have never noticed and are quite surprised when it's mentioned in front of them.
