Hope you dont mind but I railed a bit earlier as didnt have much going on.

Thought you played a few hands well and the AQ exit hand was absolute standard, just explian to me about the QJ exit hand and your thinking on your hand when you had AQ hand and walked into quads.  Not quite sure how you lost so much on that hand.  Im not having a go here but I think this could be perfect oppurtunity to improve as a player.

Dont mind anyone railing or asking about any hand - Like you say if I can learn something then good all round

I meant to post the quads hand, but couldn't find it last night -  I definately misplayed it - ok up to the river (I think) but should have folded when he shoved, tbh the hand above when I got bluffed played a part here as was still thinking about that.

I'll try and find the hand and post it see what you all think

I dont remember exiting with QJ - I did spew off in the 6 max, with AQ which is maybe what you thinking of... had ~26bb and wanted to get it in over a 5x raise - ended up 3betting which villian called and open shoved a rag flop which I called with over cxards only - was pretty tez and put me on tilt for about an hour after, I should of just folded pre or even shoving would of been better than 3betting, just had a brain fart I'm afraid, but know it was a mistake and obv trying to keep them to a minimum

Blatch on this hand..do you see the river as basically a blank and nothing changes... oppo has played this really weird imo as nothing makes sense.... I feel if we called the turn we have to call the river as situation hasnt changed...

I was thinking about this hand.

I'm very inclined to call here since every draw on the flop missed. The K doesn't really scare me as I don't think he shows up with KQ too often, it's a set or air/missed draw here and I'm probably calling. Don't know how much of a leak this is though?

Agree completely with you both, pretty sure I normally call, because its first hand and probs because I'd just asked if I could play the thing I bottled it, my bad

I cant find the AQ hand Blatch mentioned but I basically at 25/50 level I raised a limper (2k stack) pre with AQ on the button (3k stack), checked back an A5x flop (checked back because most of the stuff he limp/calls pre, he folds on A high board),  he c/r the 5 turn which I called, he then shoved the river which I should fold I think, but wasn't in the mood to fold too much after i got bluffed in the hand above and because I checked flop I guess I could look weak.. again, not my best

I'm very inclined to call here since every draw on the flop missed. The K doesn't really scare me as I don't think he shows up with KQ too often, it's a set or air/missed draw here and I'm probably calling. Don't know how much of a leak this is though?

i pass here. true, it is a set or air, but at the $22 level do many players really fire three barrels including virtually min raising the flop if they have a big draw? i find it hard to believe this is not extremely rare at this level. if it is a known extremely aggro player in a bigger tourney then maybe i find a call, but my line here is def to pass

also, if the min raise is to rep strength if he misses a draw on later streets, why does he make it 395 instead of 390 (which surely reps even more strength!) - this leans me more towards passing.

i think in this kind of tourney its hard to be too much of a nit in this kind of situation, people just don't find complicated bluffs very often
