A successful Saturday for several leaguers
In the 67 runner £40 afternoon jobbie Edna 3rd and Dingdell 6th
In the evening 40 runner £30 event Snatirams wins, Pizzled 3rd. Must have been a poor line up, that's all that can be said
Dingdell, your June total please or else I will make one up, punitively, to ensure you are punished for your tardiness.
I have to confess that I ran hotter than a hot thing.................

Ah, the Saterdee Afterlunch Jobby ............ Decisions, Decisions, and a Dastardly Dilemma.
A strong field of Regulars was supplemented by a horde of Pub League Freaks who - to be fair - had more idea than than Nirvana, who was making his debut in this particular tournament.
On a nearby table ClaireBear was rinsing the Dog & Duck's Finest, and had a Final Table stack half way through the 25/50 level ..... abley assisted by Ding, who needed two cushions on her seat to see over her wall of chips.
My table was truly complete once the tardy Snatty had eompleted the food shopping at M & S, and the fun really began ..... Snitchy plugged himself into ipodland, as the banter about his 'European Wanking Points' sent him reeling - to seek the solace of 'Tiger Feet' by Mud on his earphones.
All good things have to come to an end, and our finally table was broken - with The Snitch Bitch deservedly out ....... he had to accompany ClaireBear - whose magnificent (war) chest had been plundered by a 'calling station' - to the local Odeon to sit clutching hands sobbing at Toy Story IV, munching popcorn (Ooooo errrrr, Missus)!
Onto Table Deux, to espy Muchenhausen Syndrome Doc burbling bollox behind a pile of chips that would've kept Canute's tootsies drier than a Richard Prew quip ..... time (was of the essence, as you shall see) for Loofah to get in and get dirty!
Sniping like an Apache up in them thar hills, a very acceptable pile of about 30k was gathered in (but the clock was ticking away furiously), before Dilemma Time was reached.
As the Luton Town Crier announced seven o'clock, your author was scanning the room ...... three bloody tables left - the 'schedule' was in tatters!
Having limped in with 5 5, I was more than happy to call SB's 3k - flatted by BB - on a A 2 5 flop.
Turn was a 7 - SB goes All-in, nasty BB calls like a shot ...... Loofah ain't Larfing.
Dilemma, dilemma, sodding dilemma - I know the BB has the straight, and the SB has Ace +, but I also know that the National League £10 F/O on Blue Square starts in an hour ....... into the tank.
Three tables left, decent first prize money, Edna's threats for not binking her Fantasy Team many points so far ....... against, getting back to the PC to prevent the two ahead of me - Robert Topp, and that Desperate Dave Johnson - scooping valuable points, as the League enters it's latter stages.
"Call, pair that board" ...... disbelief that I didn't 'suss out there was a straight out there' written all over the faces of some at the table ("pair that board" - obviously whooooooshed right over their bonces).
The monogamous nature of the board after said river meant it was off to PC World to do cyber battle with the Topp Boy in Brighton, and Dirty Dave.
Home, Computiker whirring into action, Bl Square loaded ...... oh phuqq!
Only nine players registered - minimum ten required for point binkage - with two minutes till kick off ..... cat sensing impending doom, scurries off to Brent Council and applies for asylum.
Nooooooooooooooooooo ....... I'm such a muppet.
With seconds to spare, a Good Samaritan makes up the numbers and Loofah is saved the cost of a Counselling session ...... fifty quid for fifteen Snakebites down the local!
The SNG of ten finally ends (over three phuqqin hours with only 1,500 chips apiece) and all is well with the world.
Second spot for Loofah (10 points), and the two guys that mine the National League with all the verve of Rio Tinto Zinc - Brighton Gayboy and Plums the Poof - are consigned to the nil points bin.
MAS upsetting the established equilibrium .... who'd've thought it!
Was it worth it?
Probably not.
Upsetting D J .............. Priceless!

Ah my good friend so did I unti I realised that at 5.30 on Sunday I was supposed to at a ceremony at Bushey cemetary. Nothing for it but a Saturday binkage session at the G. The £40 has a great structure bit the £30 donkfest is probably better for my creative instincts. two great spite calls. One of which was purely because the guy didn't smile at all so I didn't like him. You can't beat a good spite call

Saver in 10th for me pls CheekyLittlePrewdiePants for the 67 runer £40 afternoon jobbie. Had some arse clenching moments on that Final Table .... the joy of trebling up with my all-in blind push (having just lost most of stack against 99) ...... to see that i had A6 wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii, to the crash and burn against 55.
Was a very good comp yesterday, lots of play, still lovin Edna's dry cutting comments ... had Ding and I in stitches.
Talking of Ding .........

Well done Alan!
Brief final table appearance for me at Luton tonight before departing in 9th penniless and pointless at the hands of everyone's favourite player du jour. TV's Anthony Kendall, Edna and Thomas Bernard still flying the flag for the leaguers when I left.

McBink! McFlurry of Mc$$$$$$ for the Luckster. The jewelled trowel shop could be in for some McBusiness this week.
Who is the player du jour Claw?
LOL @ Circus donks. Final 12 or so, I have 17k with blinds 400-800. The BB has just dumped off half his stack, raising to 4100(!) pre and then calling a shove with A10 v AQ. Ridic. He looks hot.
So I rise to 1900 with 47 clubs. He calls. Flop 5 6 10 two clubs. He open shoves about 25k with 7 9. The 9 plays. FFS.
Also, what is it with all this limping in to seven-way pots. It's obscene. And shit. Rant over.

He de guy that Trevor Paynemaker said he nearly came to blows with innit. V.chirpy with chips. Limp-shoving KK utg made him a genius iho.
Anyhoo, where's tonight's scrabz result and why did Tightarse take his foot off the pedal? The idea with bum-hunting is to rack up the bonus points for 100+ wins. Not to take it easy. Stewards' enquiry please.

Final 12 is an achievement at Circus Circus, I'll thank you. Top 12 of over 30 it was too. OVER 30. Almost pure flotsam down there.
No way they'd be good enough to fold QQ pre to a shove-money four-bet rim-jam.
