or for a couple of quid more you could go somewhere like the comedy store where they'll have decent comedians.  I asked the other night if anyone knew the names of any of the acts.  Apparently the G won't publish them in advance.  the official reason for that is they don't want people googling them and finding out all their jokes.

Not to publish the acts on a comedy night is a bit daft,its like buying a cinema ticket not knowing what film you will end up watching

Sorry, misunderstood your question Drainy, it made as much sense as one of Kalam's rulings.
The G poker room is a good venue for comedy nights and the like imo. Think we'll be seeing more of this sort of stuff in future.
Whoever's on stage tonight will not be as funny as Nirvana at the top of his game whatever.

Pokerz is clearly for luck-boxes and nothing to do with skill, scrabble is for people that have too much time on their hands and a great ability to reach into a bag and pull out a word totalling 8 million points, whereas..............

.............................

.......................SWING_BALL......................is a game of complete and utter skill.

It's fun.
There are no bad beats.
Occasionally you get hit round the face just like when Avi calls with tosh, and hits his runner runner vs your flopped set.
It includes physical exercise which is obv a good thing.
It stops u drinking too much which is another good thing (I've tried, and it's messy tbh)

So, what say you Elder....extend the league................pokerz, scrabz and Swingz_Ballz...............
