Ahhh just got home. The journey back was no more pleasant than the journey their. I hope they manage to get that oil under control before more anyone gets seriously hurt.

Tikay could you tell me if Paul Parker is still in please. He keeps trying to phone me? There must be someone there that will talk to him!

Cheers Matt.

snoops back by the table, tikay here.

I'm sorry to say Paul Parker busted out before the Final, so life here is much duller & quieter.

Here's a lovely pic by Rhow, I think it's safe to say two Legends of Poker.

Finally, some big big action to report.

Stuart Fox raises to 7k preflop.

Irish Denis reraises another 25k.

A Adda moves all-in.

Forgetting that Fox was still involved, Irish Denis quickly announces 'call'.

The call stands and Fox is allowed to consider his options.

After a long dwell, he passes showing .

Denis turns over

A Adda flips

Flop = three clubs

Fox groans.

Turn =

River =

The whole crowd groans.

Stuart Fox would have hit quads and knocked out both oponents. as it stands, Adda more than doubles up, Irish Denis is down to the felt, and we still have 9 players remaining.

tikay here,  as it happened, because Denis inadvertently acted out of turn, he cant act during the rest of the hand, so Foxy could have safely called, & got way from the hand later if he wanted to. Or of he did not hit quads......

Here's Mr Adda, looking unusually happy after winning that huge pot.

Some hot three way action now.

Board =

Litman had bet 3k on both flop and turn receiving calls from Adda and Perrault.

All three players checked the river.

Litman =
Perrault = As Two Diamonds
Adda =

Adda adds a few more to his stack.

Here's Denis O'Mahoney, just before he got mauled by that big hand. It's the second Main Event at Luton this year where AK has been bad for Denis - on the previous occasion he passed, & woulda taken down a whopper.

tikay here.

Bernard Litman has 82k. The blinds are 1.5k - 3k - sorry - just gone 2k-4k, & with the average stack at 112k, there is LOADS of play in this Final. I make that 28 big blinds, pretty impressive structure, eh?

Here's Pascal, with his monster stack.

Here's a typical "Final Action" snap of Micky Wernick, taken during the Final.
